Re: [Audyssey] Pirate Memory Game and Q9.
Hi Ryan. Thanks very much for the demo set up. Unfortunately however, it seems that after installing, there is no place to enter my key in order to play the full version, while in other games, when installing the demo we are able to enter all necessary things to register. I don't remember if there was a patch for the full version of the game, since the only time I installed it was in 2007. The other issue, is that while the demo of the game installs and runs perfectly on my Windows 7 64 laptop, it's not in stereo. But this may be a soundcard issue. Since the klango site is no longer active, I don't think there is much we can do. It's a pity though, because it's one of the best games with much challenge and fantastic sounds, my opinion of course. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Ryan Conroy Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2013 4:54 AM To: gamers@audyssey.org Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Pirate Memory Game and Q9. Re: [Audyssey] help with tritonus library
Felipevr, I use .ogg files in the sighted dclient, and in order to get cross platform compatibility I just grabbed the fixed point ogg tremor decoder and compiled it directly into the executable. That way you don't have to drag around some stupid decoder library, and you're guaranteed that the code will always just be there and will always just work. The builds work on mac/linux/windows so far without any trouble, and the compiled decoder only adds about 10kb to the total executable size. The only thing you'll have to be aware of is that the last block of the decode comes out with a screwy length and occasionally the last couple of samples have noise glitches, so you'll probably want to do a volume taper to zero in the last four millisecond chunk on playout. You can find the page on the tremor decoder at http://wiki.xiph.org/Tremor. Good luck! I suppose I could grab the docs and try and figure it out for you, but I'm sorry to say I don't have any examples off the top of my head I can share at this time. Re: [Audyssey] Mush z client question
Speaking of Mush-Z, there's a link to a map repository that's broken. What happened to that, and what areas does it have? Would be great if it had the Islands. Re: [Audyssey] You Don't Know Jack for iOS
Hello, The version that Brandon reviewed was the one from last year without Facebook integration. Here's the lowdown on this version. After the Facebook login, hold your phone in landscape by putting the home button on the right, as VoiceOver says with hints turned on. Now, press the bottom right corner to press the play or start, I don't know what it is. Then press the top right to start the episode. Episodes played this way seem to go from newest to oldest. Also, here are the answer layouts. Answer one is on the top left, but not at the very top, it's about halfway down. Answer two is the same way, except it's on the right. Answers three and four are on the top left and bottom right respectively. The Diss or Dat questions: The first answer category is at the top left but again not the very top, and the second one is on the bottom right. The other questions that we have issues with aren't accessible, the jibborish questions, which I don't think uses the iOS keyboard. Also the Jack attack, which has always been inaccessible though Jellyvision are now aware of this. These apps use something called scale form, something that I know little about, but I asked about their next game, Lie Swatter, and they said that while it doesn't have a host, it uses scaleform and doesn't work with VoiceOver and they'll try their best. I guess they are also trying to make this workaround for YDKJ as well. I hope this helps everyone who tried to play before.
