Re: [Audyssey] any other microsoft flight simulator players on here?
On Steam, FSX was $24.99. Here are the add ons I have that I use and like. It's Your Plane found at itsyourplane.com and also check out the supported aircraft lists. Sky song Soundworks makes the best sounds for FSX and is found at skysongsoundworks.com Basically, what I did was find all the sounds that match up with supported aircraft, and found the aircraft and purchased the sound packages. I like some of the Carenado aircraft, and the Just Flight 757FreeMium is also a great aircraft and is the only one that I will not be replacing the sounds for since the sounds are quite good. I also use Sim Physics and AccuFeel and also My Traffic 2013, Ultimate Traffic 2, and Edit Voicepack. For weather I use FSWX. I also use a program that adds much better lighting and a couple of scenery add ons. For some of the aircraft I fly, go to my YouTube channel, viSimmer. Hey, I am. Just getting into it. I have the steam addition. The add-ons that I have are fsx passengers demo, accu-feel and Active sky next. I'm probably going to end up getting radar contact, even though it hasn't been updated in 10 years. But I need to better air traffic control sounds. Possibly going to look at air holler to, because the one thing I want to do is passengers, and air holler will be able to let you do that, and I want to see how it compares with passengers. Mike. Re: [Audyssey] Alter Aeon - Thief
You have to use credits to purchase a weightless. There is a command that will allow you to see what you can purchase off the credits list. In other words, it is not a shopkeeper that sells weightlesses, but a command you have to use (credit buy list, perhaps?). Also, if you have multiple characters on one account, you have access to your credits irrespective of which character you have logged in. For instance, I could buy 100 credits with Morathi, log off with her and then log in with Tigurius. I would have access to that same 100 credits that I bought with Morathi. When you donate to Alter Aeon, Dentin applies the credits to your account (your email address). hp is effected by constitution and you can find equipment that boosts hp warriors and thieves and then clerics get more hp per level up than that casters, though druids and necros get more than mages max damage is effected by strength and equipment with dam roll bonuses - Original Message - From: Jude DaShiell To: gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Tuesday, January 17, 2017 12:25 PM Subject: [Audyssey] alteraeon hit points and damage too low for effective melee combat That well may be, but from that description it is not clear what stats can be trained to fix the problems. [Audyssey] any other microsoft flight simulator players on here?
Hi all, Sorry if this is a bit off topic, as it's not specifically audiogame related... I was just curious if there were any other flight simulator(fs2004 or fsx) players on this list? If so, was just wondering if you have any favorite freeware/payware aircraft/addons/sound packages? If there is anyone who is interested in this, feel free to reply either on or off list as it would be interesting to chat with some fellow flight sim inthusiasts who are site impaired. I haven't yet added stealing but have had good luck with pickpocketing. For Backstab, the little I know is that if you hide you do more damage as you backstab. Otherwise I believe it is probably mostly skilllevel/hitroll/damroll that make the most difference, but I too would like more info there. I have a character I am playing that is a thief/mage/cleric/necro. My reason for the necro was to give the ability to create a clay golem if needed, so I could withdraw from battle when necessary. Not sure how that works yet, since I have not tried it out myself, having just added the Necro class yesterday. A question I would like to add is how the Steal skill works. I have tried casing all types of NPC characters, but have never found one that says it has items to steal. What am I doing wrong? I have no problem shoplifting from most any shopkeeper, but stealing seems to be a different matter. Thanks, Denny On 1/17/17, Justin Jones wrote: We are getting off topic here, but: 1. alteraeon has a secure website and logging into that website and doing a credit card transaction is one possibility. If you have paypal set up with a payment method, send payments to s...@xirr.com and include your character's name in the message the fact you want to buy alteraeon credits and the amount of money will already be on the payment message. Re: [Audyssey] Alter Aeon - Thief
They might have fixed it, but you have to be very careful with Alter Aeon help files. They have the nasty habbit of not telling you everything you need to know about a spell or skil. For example, when last I looked, the leatherworking skill help file does not actually tell you that the item you create binds to your character. If I had known that detail, I would not have wasted the practices on it. [Audyssey] cosmic rage mud
Okay, this is just to let people know about a mud I've been trying out recently. The mud is cosmic rage cosmicrage.nathantech.net port . There is also an official soundpack for vipmud, type @soundpacks in game for the most current link (remember the at sign, ie :). ? The mud is run by Nathan smith, who's a member of the audiogames.net forum, though the mud has a growing number of both sighted and vi players, plus it has a team of dedicated builders. It's been up since july of this year, and the progress is quite astounding. To those who've played muds like miriani and star conquest, cosmic rage shares a few of the same principles, but is extremely different in feel, for a start there is no unrestricted pvp. The game is set in space, with you playing as one of four races, human, dragon (yes space dragons!), cy-larken, (a robotic race), or the ryuchi, human/dragon hybrids. In the game you do various activities to raise in rank, 45 different activities actually with new ones being added. Activities start off with fairly simple planet based things like hunting, hand mining, and digging into volcanos for ores (being careful of monsters of course). They then go through piloting trash collection trucks and volcano harvesters, up to several activities involved with boats and boating, harvesting gasious pollution from planet's atmospheres to eventually getting a spaceship. Once you have a ship the real fun starts. Combat missions (and combat in this particular space game isn't too tough), as well as activities like orbit cleaning, passenger transport etc. One thing I really like about the space flight aspect of things is that there are aa lot of details and realistic touches, for example setting your heat shields for landing or launching from planets occasionally getting your ship damaged by small dust particles in space, and little alien ratica, nasty little creatures that invade your ship when your doing innocuous activities like orbit cleaning. With the huge number of activities, the game certainly doesn't feel grindy, however there is more as well. There are npcs with quests on offer to ind them various items or slay enemies, there is ground combat against monsters, there is lots of crafting and even building factories. The game has an rp policy, but it's not overly stringent, though I will advise people to make sure to ask any b"where is" type of questions on general chat channel rather than the newbie channel (this one rather confused me, but hay it's just one different command). I'd highly recommend this one, especially if, like me you didn't find yourself able to get on with some of the other space games, this one is much more about the fun activities, rp is there for those who want to, and pvp again is restricted only to specific arenas. Plus, I have to say levels come very very! quickly, and there are so many activities the game doesn't get at all grindy, quite aside from the quests, crafting etc. all the best, Dark. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Alter Aeon - Thief
The withdraw skill does (or did not) work as you think. I tried that too, with the clay man, but Withdraw only works in groups of other players. Unless they have changed this, you just wasted a level. Stealing is tricky as you need very high dex and charisma. When you can get it, fast talking is a must. Just be careful with stealing though: when you are caught, they will try to murder you. Re: [Audyssey] Alter Aeon - Thief
On thieves... Thanks, Denny On 1/17/17, Justin Joneswrote: > We are getting off topic here, but: > > 1. Re: [Audyssey] Alter Aeon - Thief
We are getting off topic here, but: 1. Gold from sacrificing corpses, quests, once in a while as loot or steal it. 2. You can buy practices with credits (and I have done, and will probably do this from time to time), but I'd get my hands on a weightless container first. Unless you are a mage as your primary class (tensor's floating disc), buying a weightless is a must. Back to the original topic: does anyone have answers to my questions concerning thieves?
