I've lost interest in the game, sadly, I feel that my charactre, 
deborah, is getting nowhere, i reset her, and now feel totally lost.

more.  To top it all off, we'll be opening level 37 near the middle of
the month.

If you can't make it to the events this month, we'll also be running
our yearly anniversary event in January, from the 20th through the
24th.

To answer your question, you need a client like mushclient or vipmud 
with the vipmud nvda addon to play muds or mudrammer for IOS.  I don't 
know what Android has.

I love muds, but not that many of them have sound packs for VipMud. That 
adds to the game for me.

 in that buttons will have an exclamation  mark in them  which voice over
 reads if that is something you need to do/visit, so it kind of leads you to

 That being said, in the game I just finished my Humacti managed to get 
 himself killed when off exploring and was replaced by a hard as nales lady 
 who worshipped Venga and had renowned combat (which got to be heroic later 
 on. I actually always wish I could build a full two blessing shrine to Venga, 
 sinse both of her blessings are awsome.
 
 I personally prefer balanced to war, sinse when I tried a war clan I was 
 really struggling with both trade and keeping my herds and crops going. This 
 is why i tend to be a bbalanced clan player myself.
 
 As to restoring, well I restored when I failed the cow goddess quest for the 
 first time, however I usually don't tend to restore sinse you need

Well that has to qualify as probably the most epic space battle ive been 
through in a long time. 

I was in the Westwind system carrying out special forces missions in my small 
shadow cat corvette, when what should hove into view but a Shark class 
destroyer piloted by the dread pirate Black Morgan,  no that's what he 
called himself on the scanner. 

I wasn't really sure whether engaging this massive ship was a good idea, sinse 
while the bounty was amazingly huge, so was the risk, and taking out larger 
ships is a very dicey proposition. 

Nevertheless I thought I'd give it a try. unfortunately, as the battle started 
it seemed that the sun of Westwind was disapproving, sinse repeated solar 
flares threatened to stun both my ship and black Morgans' with an Emp pulse, 
forcing me to take lots of extra time (ie two extra action points each turn), 
to calculate correctly to avoid.

The battle therefore didn't go well, my particle cannons weren't scratching 
Black Morgan's hull, and despite all my best maneuvers he'd got in some lucky 
hits and my shields were at %50, and I had to really get lucky to Avoid 
Morgan's big and nasty missiles, one hit from which would've destroyed my ship 
in one go.

Then it came to me, to use my skill as a duelist to Suppress Morgan's ability 
to dodge the solar flares, thus resulting in his ship being hit by Emp. This 
let a couple of my own missiles strike hope, and let me rain in hits with my 
particle cannons,  but Morgan's shield was so huge, that the fight seemed 
to go on forever, even when his shield was registering zero he was able to 
launche a missile. 

But with one last lucky shut morgan's shield finally collapsed! 

I have to say that is one of the most awsome rpg battles I've had for some 
considderable time, it even sounds like something out of startrek. 

I was not initially too sure about the s5 invasion combat system, because 
though the random hand of skills was a good idea, at the same time it seemed 
nearly impossible to take out a bigger ship than yours, and not infrequently, 
one the same class as yours as well. 

Well the balance has been fixed by improving some of the skills and powering 
down others, and also the duelist skill is just awsome!

Irrispective of anything else, mental state has a lot to do with games.

I've noticed with any action title, if I'm not with it otherwise, it's 
hugely difficult for me to do well. i finished most of the Mega man series, 
and indeed shades of doom and the other Gma games in 2006 when I was in a 
great frame of mind.

Ironically, for stratogy or logic puzzles a bad mental state is almost 
helpful sinse I've actually found it a great way to relax my brain, indeed I 
played a lot of graphical spacial puzzle games not to mention games 
requiring basic strategical play such as hearts in very bad periods.

on one occasion in 2008 I even played Smugglers 3 for about 36 hours solid, 
because concentrating on how much prophit taking 68 units of robots from 
Finis to Carse was much better than concentrating on how I was feeling at 
the time.

Another factor Sean brought up is persistance. I've noticed myself if I'm 
getting smooshed in a game which I've previously finished, it can be very 
discouraging, where as if I'm trying to finish a game for the first time, 
I'm more likely to try again.

I'm currently trying to replay the graphical game Metroid Ii for the 
original gameboy. This is a game I've finished several times and at one 
point was fairly expert at,but now I'm just finding my instincts not up to 
the task. indeed this is my second attempt on the game in a month after 
giving up, and then deciding to have another go. That being said the second 
attempt is working out better than the first, so hopefully I'll be able to 
finish the game again soon :D.

Well, Blindside kind of relates to orientation and mobility. The premise is 
that something has caused everyone to go blind and the main character goes out 
to investigate, crossing the street with a subway train stopped in the middle 
of it and finding his way around the university science building where he 
teaches in order to get various tasks done. I won't elaborate, but these tasks 
directly relate to the game plot.

I don't know if The curb Game is still available. I think it was on audiogames, 
so you'll have to wait for that to come back online. You have to make your way 
across a street, and it gets faster and more tricky as time goes by.

Of course there's my favorite game of all time, Terraformers. You are on a 
deserted planet with rogue robots and you have to find computer parts hidden in 
various places, all the while keeping track of the locations of power stations 
to give your spacesuit more juice.

Lol I've actually started playing Shades of Doom again, and am finding I'm 
really rusty, for one thing I keep hitting my right mouse button to fire, 
and spacebar to toggle my night scope.  I also keep accidentally pressing s 
to walk me backwoards, it's odd as when I started playing Sod for the first 
time, those controls seemed really memorable, where as now Swamp's keys seem

I don't believe getting an electronic cane will help Lindsay with
Shades of Doom which was Lindsay's question. It may or may not help

Hi christina.

when you select a destination it's set as your nav point, you actually need 
to hit the start button on the main screen to begin travel. Also note 
that once a  destination is selected at the top of the screen where it shows 
your coordinates and your amount of water-fuel, it'll say how far the 
destination is. This is very useful to keep track of sinse you don't want to 
start for somewhere halfway across the galaxy and end up running out of 
suplies mid way.

Regarding where to get crew and supplies, well you can recruit crew at the 
spice hall of each planet, and pick up supplies at the urban zone. Bre in 
mind however that water-fuel is needed to travel, and while carrying extra 
units of weapons or electronics in your cargo hold can help you in spy 
missions and in combat, they can also increase the likelihood of encounters 
with hostile ships.

I'd actually recommend getting standing with a faction as soon as possible 
so that you can start  selling prohibited goods like weapons sinse being 
stuck with a massive cargo of  illegal stuff and no where to sell is a bad 
position to be in.

Also be very careful with the fiferent factions. This isn't smugglers where 
you always work for one faction or yourself, and having  three or four 
factions all considdering you a wanted criminal is a very bad position to be 
in.

The manual to star traders is rather detailed, but it does actually help 
quite a lot.

[Audyssey] Shades of doom.

Hi guys, I was wondering, I have no sense of direction when out walking, in 
fact, the mobility people gave up on me, as I could end up in the gutter. Could 
this make shades of doom nearly impossible to play? If not, any tips?

Hi Lindsay.

Well in shades of doom you can always check your direction facing with I 
believe the f key  though I could be wrong as it's been quite some time 
sinse I played the game. Either way  what I always did myself was learn 
directions relative to the way I faced.

So for example if I was going north I'd know east was to my right and west 
to my left, while if I was going west north was to my right and south to my 
left. This let   check which way passages were going, like for example in 
level  one  where thelong passage goes to the west then I believe turns 
north, then goes back east, meaning I know I'm now going opposite to where I 
was before.

You can always check this yourself by using the control and arrow keys to 
snap turn right and left and then test out what direction your facing. 
Fortunately in shades of doom unless your picking up objects or fighting 
monsters all the doors and   passages are at streight right angles so you 
can always use snap turns as  main navigation.

Also, coordinates are your friend. If you are on 1-1 and go east you will be 
on 2-1. This is a great way of checking your exact location and knowing if 
you've been somewhere before. You can also work this out relative to what 
direction your travelling as well. indeed some games like galaxy ranger not 
to mention some browser games use  coordinates as their main navigation 
feature all the time.

My own spacial sense is very lousy, I find it difficult to extrapolate maps 
from small peaces of information, bu by using coordinates and directions 
it's more than possible to create routes, know if you've been somewhere 
before, enter a room and exit it etc, it just takes practice and training 
your memory.

If shades of doom is giving you trouble, try something with a less complex 
layout but still in first person such as  gma tank commander or packman 
talks. Indeed perhaps if Shades version 2 has some sort of map editer, 
someone could create some practice tutorial style maps so that people can 
get to grips with directions.

Funnily enough practicing this sort of thing in a computer game will help 
with your mobility,  indeed I've recently got the blind square ap for my 
iphone which  gives very similar information in the real world to the 
navigator in shades of doom, eg, what direction your going, what your 
passing etc.

I'd also advise mobility wise just keep practicing and learning, start off 
with say a streight route with one bend on it say to get  to the nearest 
shop and go from there, also bare in mind not all mobility instructors are 
partciularly good at playing to people's particular strengths (I once knew a 
lady who thought I was the spawn of satan because I reffused to step count 
and didn't acknolidge my landmarks method at all).

I am getting very frustrated with shades of doom. I never know which exit I've 
come in or gone out of, I am stuck on level 3, and can't seem to find places 
I've visited, even though I haven't found the elevator.

If those computer consoles, radios and other noises weren't there I would 
find shades much harder to play sinse as I said it's just those sorts of 
landmarks I use.

I also make use of the coordinates system. If for example I want to know 
which side of the large pillered hallway I'm on in stage 2, I use the 
coordinates.

I also use direction facing not to try and orientate myself with where I am 
in terms of a larger space, but to determine certain places to remember. For 
example if I remember rightly the corridor in stage 3 with the gelatinous 
blob and the toilet is a long passage heading east and most of the passages 
of it go south.

This is funnily enough exactly how I navigate in real life, indeed sinse 
I've recently got the blind square ap for my Iphone which will tell me what 
I am passing in shop terms, what direction I'm going and what street I'm on 
it's quite remarkable how many of the skills translate across.

Then again, I dread to think what fiendish mazes David has built into shades 
2.0 so I might end up having to eat my words on navigation :D.

If I remember correctly (I've not played shades for a while), the equipment 
is mostly at the sides of the room rather than the center, while the 
creatures will be coming forward to get you, so unless your specifically 
targeting it or going rambo with your gun  your unlikely to hit it.

Are you waiting for a complete firing solution on the creatures? That is 
waiting until you get the correct blip sound, rather than the higher pitched 
bleeps which indicate your closer but not quite there yet.

Personally what I do with combat, when I've got creatures coming at me who 
need to be close to attack is back up and side step so that I increase the 
distance they need to travel to get me, then quickly turn and blast them. 
For creatures  who can attack at a distance and are mostly stationary I tend 
to try and get into an optimal firing position outside of where they can hit 
me if I can.

Usually i don't shoot until I have a firing solution on a creature so that I 
can be sure not to waste too much amo.

Well the cyborgs are pretty much just like the mutant humans, accept that 
they're faster and tougher, so you deal with them in pretty much the same 
way.

With the grenades, well they work rather like jim's golf game, you hear a 
rising tone and the higher it is, the further you will chuck them. The 
problem is if they hit a wall and rebound they'll hit you and kill you 
instantly, so you need to be careful.

Generally I only use the grenades when for example I'm in a very long 
corridor. Actually it's one of the rather fun ways to deal with those 
gelatinus blobs and cyborgs on stage two where the toilet is, get them to 
chase you up that long passage then turn round and chuck them a grenade :D.

Hi Ishan,

There is no teleporter on level 9. Are you perhaps asking about level 8?

On level 9 once you shutdown the experiment with the experiment
control box you need to grab the radio, and take the elevator up to
the roof to get rescued. There isn't a teleporter on that level.

As for the second teleporter on level 8, which I assume you are
talking about, I believe it is behind a false wall if memory serves me
correctly. Its been a couple of years since I have played the game so
my memory isn't too clear on exactly where the teleporters are on
level 8.

That is my problem. I get to area 9, and run out of ammo, and often it seems 
like the boss duplicates himself. Got to get back to area 9, as I died. Any

Personally, I have never been able to destroy a temporal disturbance
with ammo, but I'm not saying it is impossible. What I can say though
if it takes lots and lots of ammo to destroy it I figure the cost of
ammo makes destroying it not really worth it. How many temporal
disturbances are in the game?

I can figure at least five that I know of, and a person is bound to
lose all his/her ammo trying to destroy them all. Given that the
objective is to kill the Boss and get the experiment control box
wasting ammo on a non-objective like that is foolish to say the least.
Besides area 9 is a serious challenge and from the moment  a player
steps off the elevator he or she is going to want to have all his ammo
to fight the monsters and the Boss. Wasting it on temporal
disturbances just isn't worth it.

Hi Will,

I certainly can sympathize with your situation. I myself have been
strongly considering switching to Mac and leaving both Windows and
Linux behind. The problem is that most of my favorite apps and games
won't run on Mac without a virtual machine etc. As for my own software
I can port it to Mac, but for things out of my control like Time of
Conflict I consider that a big loss. So I would like to see GMA and
others become more Mac compatible, but know they won't as long as they
cling to ancient tech like VB 6.

Okay, Here's my situation:  I went to the banking and tried to withdraw on my 
allotted 25.00 credits, but the teller could not do this.  So how do they work 
when you want to buy stuff at the marketplace?  I saw invitations to join some 
guilds, and I became a member of one.  But is there a certain area I need to go 
to start work?  Also, I haven't seen choices for activities like farming and 
fishing.  Is this because I didn't know about activating screen reader mode?  
Maybe it's all because I'm not really familiar with this type of web-based 
games?

Hi Ishan,

I hate when that happens. Sometimes those temporal disturbances show
up in some pretty tricky places. Fortunately, I've played the game
long enough that I know my way around and can use my knowledge of the
levels to trap it in a room where it won't be any harm, but even if it
does catch up with me it just moves me to another place or time in the
level and I can use my knowledge to work my way back to where I
encountered said disturbance.

Yes, as far as I know there are 6 new systes belonging to the jaukath, 
though the rest of the game has the same systems albeit a lot of planet 
exploring has changed, however I've not got to owning a covert  yet so can't 
say for certain where the new systems are.

 It has been a year since i tried it and i have a new laptop now so 
 will retry it (I guess now i might just as well wait for the 
 expansion that will be released on saturday).
 When I tried itit was very sluggish and buggy (error messages) but it 
 might be better now.
 What I meant was that, at leas tI thought, it was not possible to 
 access the galaxy map. But that might be a missunderstanding on my 
 part. I guess you can travel allright but how do you know where you 
 should go if for example you are asked to go to a certain solar system 
 to help your faction because they are invading or being invaded 
 enabling you to do warzone missions?

I don't know if anyone has seen this. There was a report about it on 
audigogames.net and as it sounded both unique for a mud and rather  my sort of 
thing I thought I'd give it a try. 
the idea is it's a mud about colonizing other planets. You get dropped off on a 
planet and have to build a colony by  building buildings, fighting off alien 
wildlife and gathering resources. 

gameplay isn't typical of a mud at all, fights are  not common, and health is 
quite distinct.

It's a fairly unique idea for a game so I thought I'd give it a try.

It's not a very newbie friendly game,  but  there is lots of help  particularly 
on the site, in truth I've not worked out that much, in particular I'm finding 
locating certain resources rather fun, but if anyone plays the game and wants 
to offer tips, or if anyone is interested in trying it out, I thought people 
might like to know. 

Certainly it's a unique one for me, seeing a mud of this type. 

Btw, to get rid of the ascii maps type @prefs showmap is off, and don't forget 
the at sign at the beginning.

I think though sooner or later a lot more games will be developed for apple
devices over windows because voiceover is built in. which is going to make
it easier for finding the relevant information in order to make it work.
With windows the developer not only has to make it work with the os but also
with third party screen readers and it's the fact that there are multiple
screen readers which is the problem.

The only game I know of under development for Windows is Three
Monkeys. It's going to be an audio action roleplaying games using
binaural sound. That should be pretty awesome. News of accessible Game
development has always been very slow in coming for numerous reasons.

the iOS devices like iPAD or iPHONE. Some developers have gotten a lot

I personally don't find muschlient as user friendly as Vipmud, not using 
sapi, indeed I only use it for Alter because of the pack and I wouldn't 
really be inclined to  do lots of shenanigans with triggers and scripting 
and all those complicated things to try a mud out.

I might try with Vipmud as bare bones at some point, though I do think a 
full pack would be nice and would encourage people to play the game a lot 
more, heck, with the alter pack alteraeon isn't really just a text game 
anymore, it's close to being a full on audio rpg.

 It works fine with mushclient. If you play alter aeon, you can import the 
 mush reader, output functions and channel history plugins right into your 
 new world.
 After that, its not very hard to start setting up triggers for sounds. I 
 think it took me only a couple months to have a solid start on a soundpack 
 for myself, if that.

In short, little and none. In more detail: there are a few areas in which you 
can pk, and a few ways to accidentally blow up other players. I have seen maybe 
five situations in which people actually pk'ed. The atmosphere of the game is 
really 
relaxed, and there's not an awful lot of competition; we'd all rather work 
together to save the world than kill each other in petty conflicts. On my first 
day, within half an hour or so of loggin in, I had a player give me enough cash 
to start buying 
equipment, and be able to outfit my character.
If you want to rollplay you can (and some areas are really cool if you 
do a little) but there's no rollplaying theme.

Well fair enough John, though i confess all those triggers and scripts and
such always seem rather confusing when I just want to play the game :D.
I've put in some  extra aliases,  using both Vipmud's standard alias
commands or more often  alter's in  built alias making, but that is about my
limit.

Still, I'll see about trying Cyber assault out if I get around to it, as I
said in reply to Lindsay I really should  try more muds.

What is the status of pvp and forced rp the game?.

Hi everyone, I’m playing a few different muds at the moment, but was just 
curious to know why ones like Miriani only permit you to have 1 char, where as 
fantasy ones like Alter let you have more than 1.  I’m finding the more i play 
Miriani, that it’s very long drawn out activities with very little reward, so I 
wouldn’t want more than 1 char on there, I just wondered at the reasoning 
behind it.  I wasn’t sure if space themed games had an only 1 char per person

I just grabbed this game and have found it to be very interesting.
As for exploring east or some other direction, I think it's as vague
for us as it is for our sighted counterparts.
I rather enjoy the fact that everything is just a bit uncertain.

I too dislike 1D side scrollers and after trying a few I was put off of 
trying more.
Because of that I may not have a good concept of which games actually 
stretch that boundary and become more 2D.

Fortunately I finally tried bokurano daiboukenn 3 yesterday and was 
quite impressed.
It is a fully 2D platformer.
Your character is one space tall and can jump 3 spaces higher than himself.
The jumps seem somewhat analog since if you want to jump onto a high 
ledge that has a gap underneath it you must make sure to move to the 
right at the middle of your jump rather than right after you jump.

While I think it is still far more difficult than playing a mainstream 
platformer with vision it does work reasonably well.
I think there are a few more improvements that could be made, but the 
author has done a good job and any developer wanting to experiment in 
this area should try BK3 first to see how the author has solved some of 
the problems so they don't go re-inventing the wheel.

I know you're not excited about going through the setup required to play 
Japanese games.
I was not either, which is why it took me 4 and a half months since 
Bladestorm360's Guide to playing Japanese games and Clement Chou's 
earlier guide before I finally got setup.

I ran into 2 hitches during setup which were quite frustrating.
The first was getting the Japanese keyboard installed because NVDA 
reported a treeview item as a list view item and so I did not realize I 
had to expand it to get down to the actual check box items.
You might not hit the same issue since we are running different versions 
of Windows and different screen readers.
The second was because BK3 did not output to the clipboard by default 
and I had to use control C to grab the Japanese text of the screen 
before using instant translate to convert it to English.
Once I got BK3 copying it's output to the clipboard the process became 
much more smooth.

I recommend finding some time to devote to getting through the Japanese 
game setup process.

If you're not ready to do that yet then you should try a game called 2D 
Platformer located here:

2DP uses the English language and copies many of the game mechanics of BK3.
It is more of a game prototype at this stage though, demonstrating the 
movement mechanics, where BK3 is a completed game with hazards, enemies, 
items, gold coins, experience, character levels, and stat growth.
But for me it was a teaser to get me to finally setup to play Japanese 
games.

Anyway, I still think platformers have lots of room for improvement, but 
it is nice to see games stretching the bounds.

 is different to 3D velocity, though is also an audio flight sim, 
 however features some interesting changes like randomly occurring 
 enemies.

if you want to survive with the axe, there is a way of doing it
there's a certain way to backpetal while swinging so that you can keep
hitting the zombie, but it can't hit you
it requires a lot of timing, but its doable
 another option for you is resetting and putting points in to speed
and sneaking to max both, then putting points in to the glock and
possibly health and armor
or get enough rep to buy yourself a silencer and kill using that until
you can find loot to sell to get more rep
also on the issue of rep, this is why even a whole day after the new
version came out I still haven't joined a mission, so I can get back
up to a decent amount of rep through killing and selling loot

Have you played Sarah from pcs games? In terms of accessible harry potter 
games that is very much first on the list.

Regarding other games, there is a  legend of the green dragon mod based 
around  harry potter called hogwarts live. Gameplay seemed pretty standard 
for Logd, fight monsters in the forbidden forest with a wand until your 
tough enough to take on lord voldemort, but it had characters from the books 
and a couple of extra mechanics like  school houses and house points.

I've heard of a couple of forum based rp games, one called hogwarts extreme 
for example, but those are basically role play only with little to no 
mechanics.

In general myself I still think Sarah is the best theme for a game and 
likely the best model for one either, play a game  specific character and 
explore the hp world, rather than trying to emulate one of the books 
completely since the books are as much about the investigation, the mystery 
and the character as the  magic, monsters and combat.

That's why I tend to think much as with a startrek or Doctor who game you'd 
be better with a game set around! the potter universe rather than one with 
specific game  characters. for example, how about an exploration action game 
in which you played an official working for the department for the 
regulation and control of magical creatures and were tasked (possibly with 
the assistance of Hagrid, grorp, fang, firense and dobby), with wandering 
through the forests and mountains around hogwarts castle (and maybe the lake 
too), looking for the various creatures such as giants, magically controlled 
snakes and dementors which Voldemort used in his army, (perhaps along with 
any hiding death eaters), and having to either stun or remove them as a 
threat.

That would be the perfect setting for an exploration action game, say either 
another fps like Sarah or even a side scroller, and yet would be quite fine 
within the hp universe and not require something as ridiculous as having 
harry traverse levels of jumps and crazy traps.

Hello Lori,

It isn't quite that simple. The people responsible for the spam
attacks were faking e-mail addresses of various legitimate list
members, and obviously the e-mails did not actually come from those
members themselves. However, Mailman, the list software we use, has no
way of knowing if an e-mail address is being faked or not and approved
them not knowing it was spam. However, we have contacted Linode and
are working to cut off the perpetrator's access to the list.

Civilization game that was released in the 90's. In that game you
started with a caveman and you had to slowly research and evolve
through each stage of technical advancement from fire to space age
weaponry. It was great fun, but nothing quite like it is fully

it's a little difficult to suggest anything without knowing what your friend 
is interested in. While there are some games I'd not recommend to someone 
who was new to either games or audio,  for instance swamp with it's 
complex navigation and quick gameplay, technoshock with it's high 
difficulty, or rail racer with it's detailed and precise controls, or puppet 
nightmares with it's complicated page layout which would be tough for 
someone not used to screen reading, generally it's far better just to try 
things out and see, sinse even if games aren't free, %95 of the time there 
is a demo to play.

I'd actually just recommend your friend check out www.audiogames.net and 
www.pcsgames.nett, and try things for herself. I actually discovered when I 
did this that there were a hole bunch of games which I wouldn't have 
imagined liking at the write up, but which were surprisingly fun to 
play,  jim's golf game and rail racer being prime examples.

That is why i will try most any audio game out, even if it is in a genre 
like sport or racing that doesn't intereste me as much, just in case.

being totally blind aint gotta do nothin with moving a plugin.
here, lemme help you
find our good friend the plugin
go to your c drive.
I hate anything above xp but  mushclient should be in program files.
now, find the worlds folder
then plugins then hit control v and paste the plugin in there.
adding a plugin to a file is simple too.
we can globably do this but I forgot how.
I just do it for each game
so once ya launch mushclient
hit control n then put in the world name address and port per usual
then find the keypad option and shut off the numpad theres a checkbox in 
there for that.
hit ok
hit control shift and p
hit add
find the name of the plugin its a standard open file dialog  hit enter on 
the plugin it will start talkin from there.

sorry to seem blunt its after three in the morning and i felt a bit like 
what, totally blind so can't move a file? the heck?

I used VIPMud for half of the 30-day trial and stopped using it. I
 tried to use mushclient with plugins, but being totally blind, I was
 unable to move the jaws plugin to the folder. MonkeyTerm just didn't
 work, after I installed the Jaws scripts. Are there any accessible
 (free) mud clients that work with Windows 7 64Bit?

tnc is the night a modern day kinda altered time period roll playing game. I 
played it for a while. and well yeah, i got bored. I ain't into pvp and 
there really aint much to do.

I went through the campaign on SoundRTS and did OK. But I struggle navigating 
the map, I end up in enemy territory with a small army, any advice? And which

Myself, i'm stil frustrated with the xp bug.

while I'm not going to kick up a huge fuss, it is hugely frustrating to 
play a great demo, preorder something and then have it continually not run 
even though the demo was fine. not that I particularly mind the 9 dollars, 
heck I spend that much on coffee a sandwich and some cake a couple of 
times a week, and I do appreciate the project (one reason why I tried to 
help with the voice acting), but I am a litle irritated that i don't get 
to play the game.


Myself I do wonder if Jyro followed the correct approach with the game, 
using this graphic shell with audio overlay business, sinse from people's 
comments I don't believe it has been as stable or successful as it should 
be.


Then again, maybe I'd think differently if it worked on either of my 
machines :D.


Reportedly though, jake has a new game coming out very soon, so we'll see 
how that goes.

Ok, I killed the first boss in the game and brought the hammer back to

a tresure chest with a power cube inside, but I can't find another way
where I could continue.

I know that some form of ice palace should come next, but as I said, I
can't find a new way to go.

So, everyone who played the game already, help is much appreciated.

Btw, on the game website there are 2 secret areas listed that are in
this first game. Will I get to these areas when I simply follow the main
story or do I have to search for them seperately? If it's the latter, I
just want to make sure I go there before the game ends so I go
everywhere, that's why I'm asking, so I can keep a look out for secret
stuff.
