Well that was definitely a smart decision then. Hopefully it won't taper off

 Hi Bryan,
Yes, absolutely your product key will work with 1.0. We have no plans to
change the registration system between now and 1.0. Though, if we
discover the game is heavily cracked, passed around, future versions
after 1.0 may go to hardware ID based ID's despite my own personal
 objections to hardware keys.
As for that temperary sale price I am so so so glad I did it. I opened
my info email account tonight seeing if there was anything new and
discovered around $300 in weekend sales alone waiting on me. Usually, it
is like one maybe two sales a day, and this weekend my inbox wasn't
flooded but there were several sales from Saturday and Sunday to
process. Including Friday there was like 15 new customers that decided
to buy just for the extra $5.00 discount this weekend.

 Bryan wrote:
Well, I finally broke down and purchased a license for Monte. I figured
since Thomas went to all that trouble to bring it to us, and I was
interested in the game anyway and of course the new and, more
importantly, temporary sale price, I figured I could get Monte as my
Christmas present to myself. Well, I got my code yesterday but only this
morning did I try out the full version, or what currently passes for the
full version. I'm assuming my key will work for the true full version
when it's released? But anyway, I made it as far as I believe halfway
through level three and got killed when I climmbed down a rope directly
onto a snake. Needless to say the snake didn't like that too much. But
i'm making progress and can't wait to fight the guardian, even if it's
about to be changed into something else. At least I got to see what it
 was originally.

Hi Charles,
Well, a flooded inbox full of cash would always be welcome, but hey no

most of it for fun, and to get a few extra nickles to use now and then.

Hi Willem,
True. For people in the UK, US, etc $5.00 isn't a huge amount of savings
for a game, but at least I am glad it was enough to get sales going
again. For the last few days leading up to Christmas and the three days
after there were no sales inquaries etc so I thought I would cut prices
for a few days and see what happpens. Well, more people felt the price
was right and sales have dramatically picked up.
I suppose once I go to full price it will slow down again, but for the
moment anyway I really do need to focuss more on finishing the game
rather than processing orders and answering tech support questions. So a
slow down for a couple of weeks or so might be helpful in that regard.
Thanks everyone for ordering. I appreciate your sales.

Standard mode for the moment. I'm actually on level 6 right now. I got
killed just now because i was trying to avoid a spider and missed the
swinging rope in the process after being bitten I don't know how many times
in the space of a few seconds. I'd planned to catch hold of the rope before
using one of my potions but i timed the last jump badly and so Angela went
Waaah! Splat!
And i figured out where the spikes on level 1 were quite by accident.
That's what's in that first pit with the vanishing platform. Now i just have
to survive level 6 and then figure out the guardian.

Hello Geremy,
All of my games found at

are Windows Vista compatible. In fact, my newest title Montezuma's

The only thing you need to update to run my games on Vista is DirectX
which is on my system requirements page

which is DirectX August 2007.

got my code yesterday but only this morning did I try out the full version,
or what currently passes for the full version. I'm assuming my key will work
for the true full version when it's released? But anyway, I made it as far as
I believe halfway through level three and got killed when I climmbed down a
rope directly onto a snake. Needless to say the snake didn't like that too
much. But i'm making progress and can't wait to fight the guardian, even if
it's about to be changed into something else. At least I got to see what it
 was originally.
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.

Re: [Audyssey] Full Monte impressions

2007-12-30 Thread Charles Rivard
Well, darnit! I was hoping for a flooded inbox! Yours, not mine. So, I'll
wish for something better: A flooded inbox when the game is being sold at
full price?

 Hi Bryan,
Yes, absolutely your product key will work with 1.0.

2007-12-30 Thread Willem
lol yes us people are like that. It's pure psychology as $5 would make a
big difference for most of us, although it's about 30 South African rand.
