Hmmm, most strange. It's certainly working now, but then again I've not got 
a 4004 or anything today, either earlier or now, so goodness knows, unless 
it's either yourself and a couple of other people all! having brouser issues 
at once, or some shenanigans in whatever relays from Holland where the 
audiogames.net server is to the Usa which naturally wouldn't affect people 
in other countries.


I have occasionally seen this happen myself though, when a site is based in 
another country, when a specific isp goes down or when a major trunk is 
experiencing real difficulty.


that's one reason I myself use bt internet over here, their network is 
reliable, (a friend of mine is on aol and his connection is up and down like 
a yo yo).

Probably is based on DNS problems, sometimes this ocurs when a person is 
trying to connect from another country, or an international network outage.

well my isp had  an outage yesterday, aparently one of the major 
google servers failed or something.
said cluster controled australia and nz so if you had isps using the 
google cloud as mine does you would have had some downtime yesterday.

Always off line sounds about right, indeed I find the fact that they can 
cock up the ntwork in two! countries across the world pretty laughable 
really.


I also find  the way that over here they keep extremely quiet about the fact 
that their company's full name is America on line,  top marks for 
international planning on their name choice there :D.


Glad audiogames.net is working okay, partiuclarly sinse I put up some more 
news earlier tonight.

AOL is trash. There is a popular saying over here Always Off Line
because there internet connections, speeds, and reliability are crap.
I know all to well what you mean by having connections going up and
down like a yoyo because I've done tech support for people on this
side of the Atlantic with the same problem with AOL.

I actually have a few jokes on america online.
most gon the aspect that its not online frustrating users to the 
point in one where a user shoots his computer with a magnum.
others have aol constantly checking mail., or in one case stuffing up 
a computer, and simply having more problems than an old  floppy drive 
based ibm unit.

So yeah aol does get a wrap.

I have been trying to go to audiogames.net for the last two days, but 
everytime I go to the site my browser doesn't load up.
I didn't know if something is wrong with the server or not.
