Hi Thomas,

Yeah, as I said I am not good at creative writing with great descriptions etc.
That is why I have stated that I would be interested in people writing and
sending me descriptions of rooms etc.

Now in Dungeon Master, TJS and Strip War I do have random descriptions for the
women and for their body parts. You know the parts that I can not say here.
Guess that I do always use the word hair though.

Hi Thomas,

Yep, I know that I am not very good at creative writing. That is one reason
that the descriptions of the women are all random. So if you or anyone would
like to write up descriptions of a room and the sex act I would be happy to
create that room in the dungeon. However with the description of the sex act
you will have to let me know if you want the sapi5 speech before, during or

Re: [Audyssey] jim's dungeon game

2012-09-12 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Jim,

No problem. That I can do. It may take me a few days to write up some
examples of better game pros but it really doesn't require much
creative writing. It just needs more detail in terms of sight,
sounds, smells, and so on. Of course, the more creative a person is in
describing something the more appealing it will be.

For example, since I'll need a clean description for this on list I'll
attempt to describe the DC super hero Wonder Woman with a bit of pros
to make it hopefully interesting for a gamer playing that type of
game.

Princess Diana is an ageless beauty with a tall lean body, and
incredibly stunning looks. Long black tresses frames a pretty face
with high set cheekbones, sparkling blue eyes, and sensuous red lips.
She is dressed in a red spandex top, blue and white spandex star
spangled shorts, and a pair of red and white knee high boots. A Blue
and white star spangled cape is draped casually around her body, and a
golden magic lasso is tied around her waist and is affixed to her
yellow utility belt. Atop her head is a golden diadem with a read ruby
set in the middle befitting her station as an Amazon princess. Her
wrists are bound in two silver magic bracelets that give her
extraordinary powers and abilities beyond that of mortal men and
women.

Basically, the more details one can give the better. Of course, a
person doesn't want to over do it either. However, the idea being we
want to set the mood, give enough detail that the world seems real to
the player, and since this game involves sex we want to attempt to
install some sort of longing for the potential lovers. That may
require some extra steps to see the woman naked. She might be dressed
in a night gown or some other skimpy clothing that can be more erotic
than walking in on a chick totally nude, and the first objective would
be to get her undressed.

For example, if an adult game involved Wonder Woman I'd want to start
off with her in her costume. All of her personal attributes would b
hidden from view and I'd have to warm her up by kissingher, touching
her intimately, spanking her, whatever and one by one she'll give up
her clothing until she is naked. Then I could proceed to do more
intimate things with her. Perhaps tie her to the bed with her golden
lasso and do what I wanted with her. :D

The point being is that the act of undressing the female NPC is erotic
in of itself, and helps build excitement. The way Dungeon Master is
right now all I have to do is find a certain item and use it on the
right girl before having sex with her. There is little in the way of
foreplay or build up which I think would make the game more exciting.

As far as the foreplay goes, you have to remember that this is Dungeon Master
with a Sado Masochistic theme not a romance novel. All of the times that I
have been with a professional Dominatrix and other people into Sado Masochism
there was no romance, it was all about the acts of Sado Masochism. Really not
much build up either. Get naked and be tied up or do as you are told and enjoy

Re: [Audyssey] jim's dungeon game

2012-09-12 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Jim,

Lol! Yeah, I know what you mean. My point was less to do with romance
and more to do with setting the seen for the player so to speak.

When I get into a game of an adult nature I like to picture everything
I can in my mind. Therefore the more information I can have about the
girl, the room, the environment, etc helps make it feel more
realistic. At ;least in my ongoing fantasy anyway.

Plus one thing about being a good writer of interactive fiction is to
try and very messages here and there. To use my Wonder Woman example
instead of just saying she has long black hair I can embellish things
by saying she has long dark curly tresses which says the same thing
but in a more creative way. The ability to use different words,
construct descriptions that get across the basic image in a round
about way, etc isn't easy by any means. I think because I constantly
read a lot I've picked up the art of how other authors describe
things. They usually get their points across in round about ways
through choosing their words carefully and using words that are less
common such as tresses rather than hair or dark instead of black.

As far as foreplay etc goes it was just a suggestion. I know there are
mainstream adult games where you have to accomplish various steps just
to get the girl undressed. The Office, for example, is such a game.

In the Office you are a boss working late, and you decide to have a
little after hours fun with your secretary. However, you can't just
walk up to her and get into some hot sex. You end up having to set the
mood such as llight some candles, poor her some wine, rub her neck,
and then she will let you remove her blouse and finger her tits. More
rubbing and kissing and then hher skirt goes bye-bye. You can do other
things to get her to remove her bra and panties and so on.

Obviously, this isn't the type of adult game you are aiming for here,
but I do want to point out that it can be extremely fun building up to
the sex. It makes the player be patient, try and figure out what the
girl wants from them, and then to try and seduce them into having sex
with them.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] jim's dungeon game

2012-09-11 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Jim.

Well, it is easier to play than a standard adult interactive fiction
game, but it also lacks a number of features I've come to expect from
such games too.

For example, in a typical aif gameyou can tell it to kiss, lick, rub
a specific body part and it will perform that action on that section
of the girl's body. Plus normal aif games usually allow you to have
oral, anal, and vaginal sex in multiple positions etc.Not to mention
the goodauthor's will be reasonably good about describing the sex, and
so far what I've seen so far the sex scenes are rather bland in
Dungeon Master. So I think the game could really use more detailed
descriptions and perhaps more commands to keep things interesting.

To be more specific in DM let's assume I go down to use and select
hand. It does whatever the default action is. I'd rather be able to do
things my way such as spank the girl, rub certain areas, finger her
inany order that I like when I like rather than getting the same
default action all the time. Let the end player decide what he or she
wants to do with their hands, mouth, tongue rather than one and only
one way to do things.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] jim's dungeon game

2012-09-10 Thread Jim Kitchen

Hi Johnny,

Actually I am not good at creating an engine type program, so each location in
Dungeon Master is hand crafted, just like each race track in Mach 1 tts etc.
But yeah, I know that there is not much replay at all for Dungeon Master. The
only thing different would be the names and descriptions of the women.

There is no use for the pink nighty yet.

Thanks, I did try to have humorous responses and things happen when you try to
do things that aren't right.

Hi Phil,

Thank you. Actually in Dungeon Master you are a male. You will discover that
and have much more fun once you discard your clothing. I do not have much
dialog files from the women, just the files that you have not heard yet if you
still have your clothing on.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the clothing hint.
spoiler

I felt stupid not thinking about needing hooks to hang your clothing.
Except in most adult movies people just discard their clothing and throw
them on the floor.
Could you have one of the women point to you and gesture taking off your
shirt then pointing to a closet?

Another suggestion, I can think of a lot more places to put the key I found
in the mailbox.

Thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil,

May I ask, where else at the front gate would you hide the key?

I'm not positive if it was Zork but in Pork the front mail box was where you
found a letter that you needed to read. I just thought that was about right.

I guess the clothing could use a hint though.

Thanks.

2012-09-10 Thread shaun everiss

Ok.
I have another issue.
when I use the can of hair spray on the birl in the circle tower
thing, the game just freezes.
I assume there is a sound that plays for this and have found it but
it doesn't play at all.

It looks like to progress I need to get items from the girls I meet.
so this game has some sort of order.
One thing, if there is a castle how can I just walk into the road and
get run over.
or more than that if I removed my clothes out of bounds did they have
police cars in those days and well cell phones.

and then the fact there is a car in a game with horses and such.
hmmm interesting.

Nice one Jim; enjoyable little game...took me two tries to get all the
things right.
One note is that if you use mouth and tongue up in the tower, game crashes.
Really looking forward to more options in the future!

It looks like a very flexable set up- can almost take any old adult text
game and convert to that game format lol.
One thing I'd like to see is a bit more flexability with the interaction
with the characters- the way it is set up now you only can follow one path,
so once you play the game to its fullest, you likely won't play it again
many more times.
...and lol, the first thing I tried was to discard my mouth and
tongue...funny response!
BTW, I never did figure out what to do with the night gown...lol

Hi Jim,
Great Dungeon audio text adult adventure game!
I do have one suggestion or two. Or three.
It would be nice to have the game ask for your name and sex at the
beginning, then add them into the SAPI speech.
I don't know why you can't discard your clothing in the game but maybe that
is one of the puzzles.

It would be great to hear a little dialog from some of the women.
Thanks,
Phil
