I'm glad now I didn't have the time to add that to porthole yet. Might have been a quick fix anyway though. Haven't looked at porthole code, but if you use portage_util.grab* the fix is trivial (just add a recursive=1 parameter). I need to re-work it, as it currently treats it only as a file. I'll have to bring up a dialog showing the subfile options when someone wants to add a package to one of the package.* directories.
