Re: [Geoserver-users] Group raster values in SLD

2023-10-18 Thread Humphries, Graham
I have just been looking at this too. I found the validation fails but the
legend is modified according to the VendorOption and the style can be saved.

Hi, Andrea.

Thanks a lot for your response.

Could you please tell me where in the SLD file to put VendorOption tag? I’ve
tried in different places but I always get an error when validating SLD:

· line 42: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Se ha encontrado contenido no válido
a partir del elemento '{"http://www.opengis.net/sld":VendorOption}'. Se

The attached file is the one I’ve modified without luck.

Thanks again.

Hi,
I'm working on a new vendor option that will land soon on the GeoServer
developer series,
which will allow exactly that sort of duplicate removal.

In the meantime, you can probably fake it by having two rules, one intended for
rendering (using a vendor option named inclusion=mapOnly)
and a separate one only for the legend (inclusion)legendOnly). See more on this
topic here:

[Geoserver-users] Group raster values in SLD

[Geoserver-users] GeoServer Docker Image 2.24.0

2023-10-18 Thread Christian Mayer

Hi all,

when looking to the OSGeo Nexus it seems the Docker Image for GeoServer
version 2.24.0 is missing:
https://docker.osgeo.org/#browse/search/docker=attributes.docker.imageName%3Dgeoserver%20AND%20attributes.docker.imageTag%3D2.24*

Is that the case or am I looking at the wrong spot? In case it is really
missing, is there a planned date when the image will be available?

Thanks for any hint / help.

Best regards
Chris

[Geoserver-users] Misleading error message "Unauthorized master password dump request"

2023-10-18 Thread Thomas Larsen Wessel
I got this error message when trying to make a password dump in the web
administration interface:

   - Unauthorized master password dump request

Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/yEgMT4v

As a newbie, I spent quite some time trying to figure out which user(s)
were authorized to make this dump, and why my admin user was not. In the
end I found the error message below in the log.

18 Oct 08:44:49 WARN [geoserver.security] - Master password dump
attempted to overwrite existing resource

So the actual reason was that there was already a file at /opt/foo.txt.

I suggest the web administration interface is modified to show the same
error/warning message as in the log, or some other equally helpful message
:)

Sincerely
