[Gimp-developer] Painting with xinput device strange behavior
Hi All, I'm writing a diditizer driver and so far it works nice on xournal and inkscape. When I use it with gimp (enable Extended Input Device, pressure sensitive) the brush parint stroke wrongly linked to left-top. screenshot: http://www.itrs.idv.tw/~itrs/tmp/Screenshot.jpg Would you please give some hints ? GTK+ has a native Mac (Quartz) port for quite a while already. All it lacks is more people using it, reporting bugs, fixing bugs and maintaining the code whenever things change in GTK+/GDK. Re: [Gimp-developer] no fade out in painting with the git version
In my opinion, a good explanation in the documentation could be enough: the Fade out tool option has an effect only if the Mapping matrix of the current Paint Dynamics has at least one box checked in the Fade column; similarly, the Use color from gradient tool option has an effect only if the Mapping matrix of the current Paint Dynamics has at least one box checked in the Color row. What seems surprising, however, is the dissymetry between these two characteristics. Moreover, the sentences I have to write would clearly need to be shortened. [Gimp-developer] Fwd: [Tigervnc-devel] libjpeg-turbo first release (0.0.90 beta)
Hi, I thought this announcement may be of interest: >> I thought some of you might be interested in the first release of TigerVNC and VirtualGL's JPEG codec as a standalone SDK. The new project is called "libjpeg-turbo", and the files are available here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/libjpeg-turbo/files/ Included in the release are pre-compiled SDKs for Linux (32-bit and 64-bit RPMs and DEBs for GLIBC 2.3 and later, and a source RPM), OS X (universal binary supports 32-bit Tiger & later and 64-bit Snow Leopard), Solaris/x86 (Solaris 10 package with both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries), and Windows (32-bit, both Visual C++ and GCC flavors.) Additional info about the project can be found here: http://libjpeg-turbo.virtualgl.org/ including competitive performance information. Mailing lists are set up and ready. If you know of other projects that could benefit from this codec, please forward this message to them. I am looking for people to test drive it and let me know what breaks. [Gimp-developer] no fade out in painting with the git version
The subject says all. A lot of things are already working in the new features of brush tools, but no longer the fade out feature. -- Olivier Lecarme ___ Gimp-developer mailing list Gimp-developer@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-developer
