[Gimp-user] Previews in scripts or plugins
Hi all! I've created a script-fu and now I am wondering if I can add a preview for it like many plugins have. Is it possible to have preview in script-fus? If not, I can port to python, is possible to have preview in python plugins? And if not, I can try to do a wrapper from C via gimp_run_procedure2. This will take much more time as C is far away from my knoledge. Can someone point me on the right direction? and to some example? Re: [Gimp-user] gimp for webpage logo
you need to save it as a gif or png. Also remember that not all browsers support gif or png transparency properly (specifically Internet Explorer). [Gimp-user] alpha to logo
I generally have success running the Script-Fu Alpha to Logo, but I've never been able to run the one called Frosty. Just wondered if anyone knows what this error means: Error while executing (script-fu-frosty-logo-alpha 45 398 100 '(255 255 255)) ERROR: Procedural database execution failed: (gimp_edit_stroke 401) Thanks, Helen ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Cheers; Leon Most Linux distros (Ubuntu is an exception) come with the necessary software tools to download a source tarball, configure, compile and install it. That is what I did. Slackware means you never have to wait for a deb or an rpm :). But users of most other distros can do the same if they are in a hurry for Gimp 2.4rc3. -- John Culleton Want to know what I really think? http://apps.wexfordpress.net/blog/ And my must-read (free) short list: http://wexfordpress.com/tex/shortlist.pdf ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
