The GIMP version is 1.0.4 according to the program. What happens if you type `which gimptool'? Are any files listed? I don't know xhpcd, but possibly its ./configure script looks for gimptool in the wrong place. Please do a `./configure --help' and see if there are any options related to Gimp binaries listed (`--with-gimptool=/path/to/gimptool', for instance). If so, you could try and use them to specify where configure should look for the files. ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] problem installing xhpcd plugin
I am very new to using the GIMP. I installed redhat Linux 6.2 from a boxed disk set from Red Hat a few days ago. I have a set of CDs with Kodac PCD images on them and I am attempting to install the xhpcd plugin to handle this. On running ./configure command I get in the output the following messages checking for gimptool (cached ) ..no checking for GIMP verison = 1.0.0 .. no the gimptool installed by GIMP could not be found. The GIMP version is 1.0.4 according to the program. I am puzzled as to how to fix this. Can anybody help me?
