I don't know if it is what you are after but have a look at http://www.flyingsnail.com/blenderseven.html Blender is a 3d rendering program that also allows animation. All the important functions for moving images, like animation paths, keyframes, inverse kinematics and object hierachies are integrated fully. If your animations are for games look at http://crystal.linuxgames.com Crystal Space is an open source package for creating 3d graphics for games, maybe for your purposes also. It includes features such as: particle systems - to simulate things like rain or snow and fountains. collision detection - for manually moved objects physics simulation - ? Hope these help but the gimp to my knowledge cannot do what you ask. Andrew
Gimp Perl docs
Hi: Can anybody recommend me interesting docs about Gimp - Perl? Other than the distributed example, and tutorials if possible. I have found some but they seem to be old, and I would like to know which ones people find more useful than the rest. Thanks in advance. GSR

Gimp and Epson 1200 printer?
Hi all -- Does anybody know if there is a driver for a Epson Syslus Photo 1200 printer? I´ve seen some Epson Drivers from Epson Photo to Epson Ex, but none for this very good A3-printer. I also need to set up media type (Epson Glossy Paper, Epson Glossy Film, ) and other feautres (Microweave, Resolution) to get the best quality. Thanks in advance Holger

That's not the same, cause the new viev doesn't change its viewport with mouse movement. So if you leave the zoom view by moving the mouse in normal view, you have to move the zoom by yourself ... Maybe for versions after the long awaited 1.2 a view can have a mousecentric view on demand. If so just scan them in and paste them all as layers with the first frame at the bottom. Then chose filters > animation > animation playback. Andrew ---
