hi, I would like to know if it is possible to have a high resolution version

The logo is available in the source code archive file and in Git as an SVG file.

https://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/plain/desktop/src/gimp.svg

You can save it and then open with e.g. Inkscape.

Re: [Gimp-user] scanner

2013-09-24 Thread Partha Bagchi
Since all is 32-bit, you should not be having any issues. As a test, can
you try VueScan and see if that helps you? You can download a fully
functional trial from here:

Are you a a 64-bit Gimp or 32-bit Gimp? Do you have Windows\twain_32
 or
Windows\twain_64 with the appropriate ds files for the scanner in each
 folder?
No luck means editing the path statement or copying the Nikon files into
gimp/bin did not work. Every thing is 32 bit.
What I find hard to believe is there is a very detailed Gimp help file on
 how
to use a scanner and dozens of emails wining about the location and method
 to
get to it, and nothing about the problem I am having. At the Adobe
 (Photoshop)
Users site, there are dozens of people with the same error message
 relating to
dragnkl1.dll file... And no fix there either. So the problem seems to be
 film
scanner/software and any photo management software.

[Gimp-user] Gimp Path Tool Won't Curve

2013-09-24 Thread 1Bluefur
Hello, I've been having some issues with the path tool as of late. But this is
the biggest one yet. I had actually just used it to render something, and went
to create a new path to continue my picture. However, the path tool decided it
doesn't like to curve anymore so when I click on the line it simply moves the
object. I didn't change any settings between finishing my first path and
starting the second. It is still in design mode.

I've also wanted to ask if it is possible to link two anchors together when one
of the anchors in question is in a complete path. Like, say I have three lines
and anchors forming a triangle, shouldn't I be able to link a new anchor to one
of the existing ones? Because I sure as heck can't.

Of course solving my issue is my propriety here, but if anyone is kind enough to
also answer my question that would be fantastic.

Is the polygonal checkbox active? If it is this is the reason for that
behaviour.

No, unfortunately not.

Bye,
