DL mailing and workflow
Hi, at least at the Spanish translation team mail list we don't receive mails when translators update their modules, I do receive some but to my email, not to the list. The mail gnome...@gnome.org is already added to the list members. Plus, when I click on Inform of submission, if I add any comment, those are not sent to the translators. Is that the correct workflow? Should I add my comments before clicking Inform of submission? Would it be possible to have an option to take modules back? translators can reserve modules which have not been assigned to them. Thanks for your help and great work. String changes in Tomboy
Hi all, I recently made some string changes in Tomboy: * Added GConf schema entries for some keys we have been using for awhile, in data/tomboy.schemas.in. * Updated our printing to Gtk.Print; strings from old libgnomeprint-based code are gone, replaced with similar strings in Tomboy/Addins/PrintNotes/PrintNotesNoteAddin.cs. * Error dialog when gnome_url_open is unable to open a URL has moved from Tomboy/Watchers.cs to Tomboy/Utils.cs. Hallo everybody I am forwarding the announcement of the first release of the Translate Toolkit with the gconf quality test in pofilter. I know some of you have already run it successfully directly from SVN, but perhaps this makes it easier for some of you. Of course, you should also have a look at other tests which can be very useful in review. Obviously, if anybody has any feedback on this release candidate, please let us know as soon as possible. Unless something serious comes up, we might already release tomorrow. A basic way to run pofilter for a GNOME translation, is something like this: pofilter --language=xx --gnome file.po results.po where 'xx' is your language code, 'file.po' is the file you are testing for errors, and with the results being written to 'results.po'. String question
Hi! There is a string in anjuta that shows to the user that a local file is identical with the remove file in the svn repository (e.g. it's up-to-date). Currently the string is Up-to-date but I don't know if this is good english or if you can think of a more appropriate string. Thanks! New string in gvfs
Heya, I added a new string to the ObexFTP gvfs backend: USB support missing. Please contact your software vendor Note that this string shouldn't be user visible, as we don't have any HAL monitor changes made to detect those devices (so users would have needed to generate the device address by hand). I have changed one string in vino capplet: _Configure network automatically to accept connections This is a check button, when checked, it uses UPnP to forward the port on the router, in order to make VNC accessible via Internet. In case there is no comment added, Vertimus will send an email (to the list) with No comment (or very similar) text. As a workaround, the coordinator could perform Inform of submission action anytime to roll back the transaction and return it to default state. The hyphenless up to date, however, is fairly common. I think up to date is terrible when preceding a noun (Get an up to date file, ugh), but acceptable when used on its own or as a predicate adjective (The file is up to date, ok). If the string is just Up-to-date on its own, choose for yourself whether you like the hyphens. You might consider current or latest. New Language
