I did NOT say there was no corruption in Goa...Can you name any place in the world where there is NO corruption? We are discussing about a particular topic..why does it interest you from which part of Goa I come...I am a GOAN..believe it or not..its your prerogative. This is a public forum and we are discussing (or rather most of are trying to without being insulted and questioned) to discus a topic that affects our state and community...now if one is interested in assisting our community one will not get personal. The law IS taking its course. To be fair, the Police are acting on the German mothers complaint..although they may have delayed it..all the same better late than never ! You on one hand are accusing the Police of a delay in taking action (you are of course right here) but have you asked yourself about the Mother..why did she take so long in lodging a complaint in the first place ? Whom I vote for is again MY business and NOT YOURS! You , as a CITIZEN DID NOT FILE A COMPLAINT EITHER, DID YOU? but then again we are not the girls parents or guardians...I do not have to be grateful to anyone..and I did not ask why Aires did not file the complaint earlier...in a sane world the parent or guardian will file the complaint...the solicitor or advocate will only act on their instructions...after all he is retained by them ...or is he? I am an individual and not anyone's agent. I am not supporting anyone. all I am doing is trying to assist in getting to the bottom of this whole episode (if we can). Hi Miguel While you raise questions and in some cases you seem to need a reality check, use sexual connotations, I see you acting like an agent of the establishment because there are no solutions that you even suggest. I do think the Aires approach is super. Monseratte has failed to give satisfactory answers about his educational qualifications. Rohit has failed to turn up. The main conspirator behind Aires attack hasn't been arrested yet, and you are castigating the media. Dear Samir, Why should any Digamber wear bangles ... or anything else, for that matter? If you say that Goa (TODAY) has become a place where (a) the law has become useless (b) sex scandals go on without anyone getting convicted (c) activist lawyers get assaulted (though we do not yet know WHY) (d) Goan daughters would have been raped if it was NOT for the media (does not explain WHY the identities of the allegedly raped need to be in the media) (e) humongous amount of corruption is going on in Goa without anyone being convictedetc etc I'd say .OK Samirbab . I agree with you. Others might say that we have ALL kinds of Bhaille spitting PAAN and emitting all kinds of bodily fluids and solids in public in Goa and making a mess of the place. Still others may say that this is NOT how they remember Goa a few decades ago. I'd just say that those who criticise the goings on in Goa TODAY are mindless nostalgic boot-lickers of Portugal.
