[Goanet] Virus of communslism
Virus of communalism After independence and for the last 70 years Indians ,irrespective of religious affiliations have been living in harmony and peace Politics have introduced this virus to raise passions for pure political mileage and their own survival. Many are emotionally roused to believe that Hindus are being marginalised. There is now concerted effort to demonize minoritirs ,catholics and Goa CM has fired the mischievous salvo. It has emboldened the fanatics to stir tensions at Sancoale. If they are so concerned about heritage restrictions, they have not raised a voice against violations of the same statutes at Old Goa. Catholics will not be cowed down by such misguided ,groups but will defend constitutional guarantees without violence and as per the law of the land The politicians have exhausted issues like caste, reservations ,to lure people.Promises and doles, inauguration, foundation laying etc are propaganda diverting scarce resources towards non productive schemes The latest strategies are temples, pandering women voters ,,religious feelings as the means to galvanize political aspirations. Sometimes few are blinded by these appealing suggestions of faith ,distorted to portray that majority is in danger of losing their roots , culture and identity Goa is definitely not UP to swallow the bait of religious attractions The BJP sunset is being predicted will start from Goa.The Hindu protesters have registered a complaint against fanatics of Sancoale, but were our catholic MLA,s not one has raised a voice near at Goa or selective persecution of catholic institutions of Bengal, Delhi. They are wolves in sheep clothing and hence do not be enamored by these non practicing faithfuls who pay lip service and are non adherents of tennents ..They will remind of few things done ,which anyway was their duty being elected for the term and not to plead on bended knees extend the service period A change is always best way to usher in the difference, but sometimes it turns opposite, as we have seen by dumping Congress Let your vote make a difference. Do not be up for sale for temporary gratification of any type Nelson Lopes Chinchinim

These workers are concentrated in the service industry i.e. serving people coffee, food, drinks, etc. Believe you me, these people keep going to work when they experience the first symptoms of any communicable disease. The same workers can hardly afford missing their wages for the few hours they need to see a doctor and I can assure you, they return to their service jobs while taking the medication - to cure their communicable affliction. It is going to be interesting, real interesting watching the stable genius, Donald Trump, fumble with this situation. Secondly, I guess panic has not hit Goa yet. Here in Texas people have stopped buying fresh products and meats. The suppliers of the same are getting desperate - watching their product rot. This afternoon I got a call from my Indian grocer asking me to come by and buy rice and dried beans before they ran out of the same. I told him to pack a box and when I arrived to collect it, there were 10 times the amount of people I usually see in that shop. Mervyn

In Goa, the tourism industry is the hardest hit, how they pay for the salaries of the staffa nd other overhead costs. The licence fess, the taxes, power connection charges and other costs. The airline industry is another which has been hit the most and with it the travel agencies. A hell lot of affected people all over the worldnot ony those affected by viurs ... bit many who are the victims who are suffering on the streets and in their jobs. Lets pray for the virus to vanish fast and put an end to the sufferings of the millions. Armstrong Vas

The fact goes back to a few years when I initially started writing on politicians, I used to receive as many as 5 virus laden mails to my ID...who was behind it was anybody's guess. I have been a journalist since 16 and i have the guts to call a spade a spade hence it does not go down very well with many people. I hope you get your passwords and e-mail id sorted and the hecker is kept at bay...but strangely it is surprising how he choose my ID above all... Hope you dwell on this as well... [Goanet] virus or hacking
Hello I received a notification from Goa Research Net about some photos I had sent them. I replied to Dr Teotonio D'Sousa that I hadn't sent him anything. About the same time one Cedrico DaCosta sent me an angry email asking why I was sending him virus laden pics. I wrote back saying that I hadn't, and wouldn't, as I didn't even know him. I am told that the problem could either be a virus or someone has hacked into my email and is misusing it.I've already changed my password. Can anyone elaborate on this problem and what one should do?
