It appears that you are trying to use Google Code as a file hosting
service. This is not permitted. Accordingly, your projects have been
removed and your account terminated.

Re: 403 error on all zip files

2014-05-19 Thread 'Augie Fackler' via Project Hosting on Google Code
We've added some rate-limiting to try and contain people that are using our
source control offering as a host for delivering malicious content, and
you're getting caught by the rate-limiter, which has (correctly, it seems)
noticed you're doing a lot of raw-file traffic. You might want to consider
hosting your downloads on a service that's optimized more heavily for
serving downloads, rather than from our source control system.

Sorry for the trouble.

Latelly I'm receiving this message over and over again:

From time to time it will allow me to upload a file to the downloads

stated above. I fill in the same fields every time. Any way to solve
this issue?

I'm having the same problem, with a 403 error whenever I try hg push (Mercurial + Google code)

2010-02-15 Thread AW
I've been using Google Code for quite a while now for my Mercurial
repository.

However, today I found I can hg *pull* updates successfully, but I
can't hg push, because I get HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

I am wondering if this is some problem on Google's end, because this
morning I couldn't even get anything to connect to google code (the hg
command would just hang, waiting for the remote server).

 cd myRepositoryGoesHere
 hg push
pushing to https://myRepositoryGoesHere.googlecode.com/hg/
searching for changes
abort: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

google.com and other Google properties? Can you give a couple of
examples of URLs that are returning 403?

 Cheers,

Hi guys!

Thx both for your response...

My ISP has a subcontractor, Carnet. Anyway, the problem is the same.
One system admin told me, that this is an old Iranian IP-range!?
Anyway, here is what you requested:

*** Nslookup begin

Strange, in the traceroute above, I dont see my public IP address:
82.132.0.*
***
Maybe there is some filtering, not sure.

http://code.google.com/
http://code.google.com/p/csvlib/

http://code.google.com/p/twitter-api/
etc...
***

Just now I've noticed that http://appengine.google.com/ is forbidden
as well (403).

Other Google services are working (mail, calendar, apps)

Thx,
Akos

Re: Unable to checkout code 403 error

2008-10-13 Thread Ben Collins-Sussman

1. Show us the exact url you're trying to check out, and the exact
error message you're getting.

2. Try doing it with an svn command-line client too, and show us the results.

Re: Unable to checkout code 403 error

2008-10-13 Thread pythonandchips

I have been able to get it to work eventually.

The problem was with the proxy settings within TortoiseSVN.

I was able to get a copy of the PAC file and set it for the googlecode
proxy.

Kind Regards
Colin

  Hi,

I have the same (or similar) problem since a few days:
access from 94.208.7.223 (last saturday) and 94.208.57.223 (today)
  gives:
  Google Error (403)
Forbidden Your client does not have permission to get URL /p/jallib/
  from this server.

  - I can't access the google code pages or wiki
  (http://code.google.com/p/jallib/
  )
  - I can (either using SVN or the browser) access the files in SVN
  (likehttp://jallib.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/unvalidated/doc/html/print.html).
  - When I setup a VPN to my company and access the Internet trough the
proxy (i think in Amsterdam), it works okay from the same computer.
  - google mail, groups work okay.

  Any suggestions are welcome!
