Hi,

What do you mean by "feasibility"?

The 1080 is good, quite fast, but expensive too. It's faster than on
the TITAN X, but  ATM you need a very beefy CPU to match its
performance, i.e. at least an 8-core i7 or a 12 core Xeon (that will
change soon, but not for the next release!). Hence, the 1070 is far
better perf/buck and with our kernels it roughly matches the top
Maxwells.

BTW the Fury Nano is a decent choice too especially as it's available
and about the same cost as a 1070.

manage to give us any early access, in practice. We have some cards, but

I have used GTX 980 Ti and have found it compatible with gromacs with a
