[Hackrf-dev] I only get flat noise in gnuradio

2018-02-22 Thread Juan Antonio
I can not get the hackrf to work well with gnuradio, the only thing that
comes out in qtgui_freq_sink or in qtgui_sink_ is flat noise with the peak
of the offset dc in the center.

He intentado diferentes niveles de ganancia pero no hay cambios en el
spectro

however with gqrx or in windows with the analyzer of pavsa the hackrf
behaves perfectly

This is my hackrf.

[Hackrf-dev] Hardware recommendation for hackrf

2018-04-04 Thread Juan Antonio
I'm having overrun problems, especially from 8mhz
of symbol rate.I was thinking about buying a more powerful computer, I
currently have an Intel celeron J1900 4 cores at 2Ghz and a ssd . I have
also tested an i3 and it seems that it is even worse. The funny thing is
that the overrun occurs even with the cores working at 50 % so I find it
hard to believe that it is a processor problem

In the end the problem was in the Rf Gain control, it was too high

[Hackrf-dev] How does the hackrf generate the signals?

2020-04-06 Thread Juan Antonio
I've been wanting to understand how an ofdm signal is generated for a while
and I can't

The hackrf generates similar signals but I also do not understand how it
generates them. It seems impossible to generate 8000 carriers at the same
time, therefore the only thing left is to generate them
sequentially(to sample), generating a point and passing to the next
frequency , thus until 8K and then go back to the beginning and go the same
way.The trick would be to do it so fast that it is not noticeable to say it
in any way

[Hackrf-dev] Hackrf and oscilloscope

2020-11-20 Thread Juan Antonio
Hello, I would like to be able to analyze a COFDM carrier with the
oscilloscope (100mhz) and I have thought that perhaps in the hackrf there
may be a position where it can be done with the appropriate software

Thanks in advance
