though RHC English from Bauta on 5040 kHz with nice excellent audio quality,
stronger at S=9+35dB level at 0506 UT, hurricane news.

6000 RHC from TITAN site at Quivican San Felipe, S=9+25dB at 0510 UT,
Chavez brother on Venezuela conference report,
little low modulated.

6060 S=9+10dB RHC from Bauta, somewhat lower level sounded. 0512 UT

6100 S=9+20dB RHC from Bauta site, UN conference assembly report from HQ in
New York.
20 kHz wideband signal, best performance of RHC in 49 mband. 0515 UT

6145 RHC Bauta POOR SIGNAL, rather only exciter on air.
S=7 in NJ-US east coast, low modulated too,
- also weak S=7-8 signal noted in Edmonton, Alberta, consider the excellent
antenna farm there !


7570 RMI with English annmt repeat on Mexico earthcake, repeat over and over
again, but followed by BS TOM program later around 0525 UT. S=9+35dB strong
powerful, but in Alberta observed a small spurious 140 kHz away distance
on 7710 kHz, latter very low level.

Signed on with a dead carrier about 1404-1405UTC, was on for a short time

** NORTH AMERICA. 7470, Sept 19 at 0219, JBA carrier, presumed the revived 
Station YHWH which was first reported two nights ago by Rich Ray near Chicago, 
then by Rick Barton, AZ, who had him strong, and by several others. 

It has been a sesquimonth since I last traced him on his then favorite 
frequency, 7585. Sept 20 at 0158, now enough signal, S9 on 7470 to recognize 
his strident voice talking about Yahweh past 0211 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF 
RADIO 1896, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SPAIN. 17855, Mon Sept 18 at 1922, REE finally reactivated on its North 
American frequency, VG with deportes in Castilian; first checked on the DX-375 
portable, where 17715 for South America is almost as strong, 15520 also good, 
but 15390 too weak to tell. At 2050 back on the homerig R75, all four are 
audible including 15390 which is worst; 17715 S9+10 and 17855 S9+20. Manuel 
Méndez reported that no signals on Sat and Sun were because of a transformer 
failure, but meanwhile they had repaired 17855 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF 
RADIO 1896, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1895 monitoring: confirmed Monday Sept 18 
after 2330 on WBCQ, 9330.0v-CUSB, poor. Final airing UT Tue Sept 19 at 0030 is 
still missing with the WRMI 7730 transmitter off.

WORLD OF RADIO 1896 contents: Anguilla, Armenia, Australia, Bhutan, 
Bougainville, Brazil, Burundi non, China, Cuba and non, East Turkistan, 
Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, International Waters non, 
Korea South, Kurdistan non, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Myanmar, North 
America, Solomon Islands, Somaliland non, Spain, Taiwan, USA, unidentified, 
publications --- and the propagation outlook

WORLD OF RADIO 1896 monitoring: confirmed first SW broadcast, less than one 
semihour after completed, Tuesday September 19 at 2130 on WRMI 9455, fair. 
Fortunately this broadcast had been on two frequencies, so still audible 
despite // 15770 not yet restored. Also confirmed Tue Sept 19 at 2330 on WBCQ, 
9329.970v-CUSB, fair S8 with some deep fades. Next:

** U S A. 7570, Sept 18 at 2335, WRMI 7570 is off again after a revival, while 
7730 remains off, and 7780 is BS. Sept 19 at 0603, 7570 is back on with BS // 
5850 and 7780. Unfortunately, the only frequency with RAE in Japanese at this 
hour, 7730 is still down. Sept 19 at 1302, 7570 is on with BS, 7730 still off. 

Sept 19 at 2130, 7780 is on with BS, WRMI-1 now running all day long, 24h even 
tho not propagating much in full day, on one of the NE antennas, presumably 
because 11825, nothing but BS, is still down; and also 15770 is still down, 
having been on the antenna, also to the NE that was destroyed by Irma. Jeff 
said 15770 may be coming back on another antenna. It`s not totally BS; at this 
hour would be in variety programming including WOR on Tuesday. 7780 breaks away 
from the BS, only for `The Power Hour`, M-F 12-15 UT, but on Sat & Sun might 
remain // 9395 with Oldies. Sept 20 at 0212, 7730 is still off, 7780 is VP, and 
7570, which normally inbooms, is a poor S9 with an unattributed news clip about 
the Mexican quake before BS comes back with the obvious conclusion (Glenn 
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Reports from YL & OM presumed about earthquake. Signal is not as good as most 
nights with some modulation issues. Conditions are poor here w/ hurricane Jose

The RADIO DARC programmes will be compiled by Eva-Maria, DG9MFG, Christian,
DL8MDW, Peter, HB9MQM and Rainer, DF2NU, the Editor-in-chief.

Several transmitters and shortwave bands are used to allow reception in
different target regions of IARU Region 1. The broadcasting partner is the
Austrian Broadcasting Transmitters Corporation (ORS) in Moosbrunn near
Vienna. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, 17 September to Friday, 22 September 2017

17:30 - 18:00 UTC - 13 775 kHz with 300 kW for Africa
17:30 - 18:00 UTC -  9 790 kHz with 100 kW for Eastern Europe / Russia / ME
18:00 - 18:30 UTC –  6 070 kHz with 100 kW for Ce, No and SoEUR
18:00 - 18:30 UTC –  9 540 kHz with 100 kW for Western Europe

RADIO DARC is the weekly magazine of the German Amateur Radio Club for radio
amateurs and shortwave listeners, with three broadcasts on 6 070 kHz for
Europe. The programs contain DX news, technical features and reports from
the DARC, as well as commentary, propagation forecasts and some great music
from the 70s and 80s.

2040UTC, when they should be on and in the clear after RHC signed off,
there is zero carrier on UTwente SDR.. a day or two ago, I'm pretty sure i
detected no carrier at home one afternoon when they should've been on. I
wonder if they're signing off early on purpose or have a technical fault.
