When you say downloads where are you downloading from?

I found that speed test is multi threaded. Meaning it makes multiple 
connections to max out the speeds. However if you are doing http downloads 
depending on the server you could only get a single thread which can be 
throttled by the server config.

Try the same download with a multi threaded own load manager. I use internet 
download manager.

[H] Download Speeds slow, but Speed Test is good

I have an interesting problem.

The download speeds of the computer go to a crawl overnight.  A Speed Test
is done and it maxs out at 212Mbs by 21Mbs.  On the downloads goes 51kbs to
105kbs.

A simple reset of the computer fixes the problem. I have tried the
computer's firewall, no go. The Router, no go.

Any Ideas?
