It does the update, then reboots and stops at the ASUS logo and won’t go on and won’t go to BIOS. I have pulled everything but the 1070 video card out in an attempt to discover the problem. I tried clearing the BIOS, and then a re-flash of the current BIOS. Nothing helped. Anybody go through anything like this or have any ideas or has this board just gone bad.

Re: [H] Fast Boot Failure
Thanks for the info. I do have a USB device malfunctioning, well, Win10 is telling me it's not identifying itself. That will be fun to find. Eh. Re: [H] Win 10 won't shut down
Jamie, Didn't notice your email because Gmail stuck it in spam. But thanks for the response. It turns out that I had a device attached to the USB that was causing a long delay in shutdown, probably about 10-15 minutes. I had just bought one of those USB cassette players to transfer songs to digital. While it does that great (hint: it attaches as a USB sound device so you can select it in Audacity), it has some problem with being connected at shutdown. So I removed it and all is fine. [H] USB Compatibility
I just recently attached an Anker USB 3.0 Hub and while it does work, I did see an uh-oh in the manual (single piece of paper). It stated that 'All' hubs had problems with Logitech devices. Now I've noticed a trend the last few years of USB incompatibilities suddenly springing up. In my case, the APC UPS. As an engineer, incompatibility means somebody screwed up. My thought is that many vendors are using cheap Chinese chips and trying to blame their problems on somebody else. Any thoughts? Any experience with 'all' hubs having problems with Logitech?
