Re: [hlds] [TF2] No Auto-Join Prompt on Server Full

2010-07-15 Thread MjrNuT
I'm not seeing this option again now. Is there now a possible built in cvar
for this?

Most recent attempt was after last nights update (7/14). Or is this a
client side mechanism?

Thanks,

Features:
- Anti Speedhack
- Anti Wallhack (experimental, disabled by default)
- Cvar detection
- Fix many files exploits which are not checked by sv_pure/sv_consistency
- Fix norecoil exploit on DoD S
- Fix some map bugs on DoD S

 Hi,

I thought it would be interesting for some of you since Valve never
   fixed
loading client side plugins. Here is DBlocker, a server side
  AntiCheat
which
can detect the current LSS version (and various other exploits).

CSS, DoD S and TF2 are currently supported.

 http://dblocker.didrole.com/

 Features:
 - Anti Speedhack
 - Anti Wallhack (experimental, disabled by default)
 - Cvar detection
 - Fix many files exploits which are not checked by
   sv_pure/sv_consistency
 - Fix norecoil exploit on DoD S
 - Fix some map bugs on DoD S
 - LSS detection

Re: [hlds] Counter-Strike: Source Update Released

2010-07-15 Thread ics
Whenever there is an engine update, it affects CSS, TF2 and DODS but it
is not required untill a mandatory update arrives to any of these games.
This time it was required only for CSS, not for TF2 and DODS so there is
no need to update your TF2 and DODS servers, untill an update arrives
for them. I'm guessing TF2 will have and update soon, perhaps even today
due to the Polycount contest winners.

[hlds] New update broke fy_iceworld ?

2010-07-15 Thread Adam Piatek
Upon starting my iceworld server I now see this in console after a
connection attempt is made, as soon as the player joins a team the server
crashes with this response in console.

Warning: using WorldTwoTextureBlend on a non-displacement surface.
Support for this will go away soon.
   - Material : ground/blendsnow_asphault
   - Surface center : 245 597 -512
Warning: WorldTwoTextureBlend found on a non-displacement surface (material:
ground/blendsnow_asphault). This wastes perf for no benefit.

Anybody have any suggestions?
Regards,
-Adam

Crash must be from something else than that because that is a mostly
harmless error. Map de_dust2 have had this for years. It's just a
texture used as displacement instead of regular brush.

Re: [hlds] Team Fortress 2 Update Available

2010-07-15 Thread Mike O'Laughlen
Custom maps can use custom models and particles that can cause issues for
clients. I suggest going vanilla and rotating each custom map one at a time
until you start seeing the problem. Or note which map was running last
before the server crashed and remove it. Continue to remove maps until the
problem fixes itself. Then rotate each one back in until it happens again.

with the newest version. i hadn't heard of dblocker before this. it
  has
crashed my tf2 server 3 times now in 20min. i pulled it off. :|
 i'll
still
give it a shot on dods/css though, seems like we catch more hackers

 those
 servers anyways.

well initially it made my TF2 server crash lol, why is
db_anti_wallhack

to
   have

 Hi,

I thought it would be interesting for some of you since
 Valve
never
   fixed
loading client side plugins. Here is DBlocker, a server
 side
  AntiCheat
which
can detect the current LSS version (and various other
   exploits).

CSS, DoD S and TF2 are currently supported.

 http://dblocker.didrole.com/

 Features:
 - Anti Speedhack
 - Anti Wallhack (experimental, disabled by default)
 - Cvar detection
 - Fix many files exploits which are not checked by
   sv_pure/sv_consistency
 - Fix norecoil exploit on DoD S
 - Fix some map bugs on DoD S
 - LSS detection
