So does this mean we are getting CSS ported to the Orange Box engine? Re: [hlds] Team Fortress 2 Update Released
I had an issue on one of my servers where it *said* it was fully updated (ran it 5 times) but the engine.dll (in orangebox\bin) was a 0 byte size file as opposed to a normal sized one. It took me a bit to find the problem so I thought I'd share in case anyone else is running into the issue of their server not even being able to begin to startup. Re: [hlds] GSP Hosting Questions
Had horrible experiences with ArtofWar's customer service. I would highly recommend against them. Slow, unable to do simple things to fix the servers in a timely manner. Left them and haven't looked back. Just keep in mind you always get what you pay for. If it looks too good to be true, then 99% of the time it is. Don't skimp on a few extra bucks because you'll only regret it latter when you find out the GSP has oversold the bandwidth on your underpowered shared server box. Oh noes! Valve is making us update our servers so they can't be DoSed or exploited or crashed! The world is ending Seriously, Valve does an absolutely superb job of keeping TF2 up to date.
