[IAEP] new technical list in spanish
Hi, several development groups are being formed right now in Latin America and in order to make easier for them to work together a new list has been created: http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-desarrollo Please join if you would like to participate in discussions about Sugar development in Spanish. But given the low (almost null) participation in the existing mailing lists of the people who this new list is targeted, I think the benefits will outgrow the downsides. On which list would consensus be authoritative? If someone is opposed to someone else doing something, then that feedback needs to reach that someone else. I see how this can get messy but unless we bar participation in the community of people who don't speak english, we'll need to find a way to cope with this. The education nature of the project is engaging many people who are not traditional open source contributors. This is an excellent out reach opportunity. The list was created to ensure and give the possibility to people that don't know English or are not to confident in it to participate in Sugar development, We'll hope that students and developers from all Spanish-speaking countries take the lead and begin to support the overall sugar development.
