is possible for you to send me your yum.conf ? or correct yum
reposistory for fc3 upgrade :-)
thanks,

Hey Gaurav ,
This is the issue in your yum.conf directory try pointing it to some
other yum repository.

You may also face this issue if you can do download RPM's on your server
via HTTP (may be route, DNS issues). \

This error may also come when you press Control+C :-) Try waiting
for a while or run it using yum -y upgrade

One tip : I have seen less conflicts when we upgrade when we upgrade
from fc2-fc3 BASE rather than updated one.

Thanks

Being a free citizen of free India, I ask why the esteemed
organization which ropes in the best brains in the country force
commercial software down my throat. Why can I see the hindi section on
Linux, the free and open source OS I use.

I feel that the organization is too busy and not keen on promoting or
even utilizing open source technologies and software.

I viewed the site using Firefox and Mozilla browsers on Linux as well
as MS-Windows, and found that your website looks horrible in these
free to use browsers, due to obvious programming incompetency, or mere
laziness to test the site against non-proprietary browsers /
non-proprietory operating system.

Promotion and use of Open Source technologies is in the interest of
our country. Even the President of India, in his various speeches and
lectures has called for using open source software.

The country would appreciate if Public identities like your
organization takes note of our requests and to the least makes your
website look good in hindi, the most widely used Indian language in
non-proprietory open source browsers.

And please dont moan about difficulties of showing Indian languages on
the web.The PTI hindi website

alternative already exists.

like cisco director) ...so it forwards your client request to many real
servers in back end , u can also use this Linux LA . Also try ultra
monkey (yes the name is right!!) . Though open SSI includes LVS by
default but I thought it to much to swallow for me

One problem I am facing with LVS is session presistance any body
has a solution for it ?

Hi Guys,
I need to process one script that needs high processing power. I was thinking if Linux Clusters/Distributed Computing can help me in achieving that. Any inputs/pointers in that will be highly appreciated...

What script are you actually talking about? There are a variety of
options available, (SSi, HA, PVM, Beowulf, etc) depends on *what* you
actually wanna do. If your script spawns a no of processes, you can
go for SSi. Else you may need to reprogram your *script* to make it
work on distributed environments.

[ilugd] NTLM authentication on Apache

2004-08-19 Thread Gaurav Prasad

Hi Guys,
I have implemented NTLM (win nt ) . authentication on apache
running on windows thru SSPI module ...
I will be migrating to linux server and want to implement NTLM for the same.

Is there any module for NTLM for apache 2 on linux (mod_ntml I tried is not
compiling ...giving apx errors...i guess it only works on apache version
1.x) ...I am using fedora core 1 apache 2

If anybody has done this on apache2 ...pl share ...also basic installation
problems

Regards,
gaurav
