I do not quite get point of this thread. What is it there requiring use of non-free (as in freedom) applications for promoting freedom? If you cannot practise what you preach, you are hypocrite. Yes, I never said, you cannot show those code, even I am agree with Windows application which are read it as , which are FOSS application , Use any platform You can show your FOSS work on any platform but Laptop which is going to be connected with Projector must be having Linux distro on it. I do not know how you manage it. You can still Show pdf/odp files, video files etc for demo. Purpose of meetup and showing your work will be solved using Linux distro connected to Projector. But as a Strict rule, MAC and Windows Laptop/PC cannot be connected to Projector. 1) but in demo, you cannot promote non-free things. like windows mac etc 2) We will try our best to recompile the app on Linux platform. Makes no sense, right? Correcto. Then we should stop using Acer/HP/Dell and all other laptops who don't release the schematics of their motherboard/hardware. Let us stop using HTC/Nokia/Samsung/LG whose mobile phone schematics are not released. Heck, I can't use my watch then. XD There are two things.. 1) something we can ! 2) something we should should include many things which need to be done. Also, I am not sure why mention the city at all. Instead of Delhi/NCR/Bikaner Geek Meetup why can't it be FOSS Geek Meetup in Delhi? Aha, Good one.. Lets other vote for this.. we can use this too.. All in all, why does anything matter at all? Let just meet and let us all show off our work to each other and be geeky? :'( +1+1+1+1 We would love to hear your recent work what you have done with Arduino and that LCD screen :) I love that project.
