What fantastic, superb photos! - best Selaginella photo I've seen anywhere,
clearly shows aristate median leaves and a very narrow pale margin to
leaves, plus of course the strongly dimorphic sporophylls (might need one
more of a strobilus from beneath to see cilia etc.?). How did you take the
photos and what camera? If only others could take such good photos of
Selaginella - you deserve a prize for excellent photographic service to
Pteridology!

My first impression is Selaginella chrysorrhizos. It is in that rather
ticky group, anyway. But tomorrow when I get more time I will study it
more carefully and see if I still think that. I did not know of S.
chrysorrhizos from Maharashtra, but it is in M.P. and in Kerala, so could
well (should!) be there.

Best wishes - I'm very impressed!

Habitus- growing laterally from rockface. Size 6cm.
I could not find any with strobili. Is it possible to id on leaf structure
and arrangement alone, considering the distribution ?

 Dear members,
Sh. Saroj Kumar Kasaju is the Star Expert of last month (with 937
 messages )
with his beautiful uploads & interactions.
He is now not only among the top posters but also among the top most in
helping other members in their identifications as he looks after each and
every post and gives his valuable inputs.
His postings in the last month were mainly from West and Central Nepal
(areas still deficient in efi), which included many new additions to
 efloraofindia.
The quality of his uploads is also super, showing almost all aspects of
a plant with very high resolution images, along with wonderful photography
and close up details. He has a great knowledge as far as Flora of the
 region is concerned.
He continued to mesmerise us this month also (like since July'16), for
which he has been consistently becoming Most Interactive Person/ Star
Expert every month. He has set a record by becoming the only person to
get Most Interactive Person/ Star Expert for the last 67 successive
months. He is also one of our Pillars
  and
has moved quickly at number 3 among top 10 all time posters
 . He is
now called ‘अजेय’ ‘Ajey’ of eFloraofIndia

 .
My hats off to Saroj ji for his unmatched contributions.
