I too agree with Gurcharan Sir. The habit of Erigeron acer which is more
closely related to E. alpinus and is found in India is very different from
the plant in the photo.

regarding the nomenclature. According to the plant list Pseuduconyza
viscosa has been mentioned as a synonym of Laggera aurita. So which name

Respected members,
I need guidance on the status of *Saussurea caespitosa* var.
*depressa*(Hook. f.) Lipschitz. and
*S. taraxacifolia* var. *depressa* Hook. f. According to the plant list the
two of them are not synonyms and moreover the variety depressa does not
find mention in the plant list for either of the species, though it is
mentioned in the flora of India. Please guide me over the issue.

different plants as the first three plant photos seem to have a different
