Because AOO 4.1.4 is provided with a dictionary in your language by default. So needless to add an extension. If you install AOO on Win10, be sure to run program with admin privilege. For this kind of question, you can post directly on end-user support: http://www.openoffice.org/support -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
[Issue 127625] Error installing English dictionary extension
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127625 Keith N. McKennachanged: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@apache.org Keywords||needmoreinfo --- Comment #1 from Keith N. McKenna --- This sounds like a known problem with using Internet Explorer. It often silently changes the extension of the file to.zip instead of the required .oxt. check the name of the file and make sure it is of the form abc.oxt where abc is the actual name of the extension. If it is abc.zip then rename it to abc.oxt and then double click on it and it should install. If this solves the problem please let us know so this can be closed as appropriet. If the name change is not the problem, please provide a step by step explanation of how you tried to download and install the extension. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
