The only module that's not working for 2.11 is thriftserver and kafka-streaming, as for Kafka they only started to support 2.11 from 0.8.2 and Spark kafka module depends on 0.8.0. It should be just a change in Kafka version to make it ready for 2.11. AFAIK, 0.8.2 client works well with previous 0.8.x server. And we need to fix thriftserver build issue. I don't think 100% of Spark's dependencies and modules work with 2.11. Is it causing a problem for end users?
