OH MY GOSH!
Folks I owe the entire list an apology I went to the FS web page and went
into the Tech notes to try and help with this elusive MSN patch and found
some interesting notes about that subject and copied the URL and pasted it
to a reply to this thread. I had no idea it would link to the on thousand
tech notes on all subjects.

My sincere apologies to the list!

OK Mitch,

I won't bother you. The way it was worded sounded to me like a friend had
sent you the patch in the form of a file , which, I wrongfully assumed that
you saved and could pass it on to others.

No, WLM does not get rid of WM. It takes the place of MSN Messenger, but
not Windows Messenger.

You will need to open Windows Messenger and go into the tools options and
uncheck it to start automatically when Windows starts.

would like you to be able to fix the problem. Now, when I open WLM, I
don't

have to click to sign in as I used to have to with the older version of
Windows Messenger. It brings up a box where I can either type in my
username, or where it will store my username if I check the box that tells
it to do that after installing the program. I can then tab to the password
field & type that in & tell it to log me in.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws with windows live messenger?

 Listers,

Is anyone out there using windows live messenger? If so, how well does it work
with jaws, and is it user friendly?

Is it as user friendly as MSN messenger?

Oh! If it does work with jaws, where may I get it?

Thanks to all, and have a very happy new year. All 365 days of it.

 carliss
