Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS an ITunes

2011-06-03 Thread John Justice
John,
You just frightened me since I use Itunes regularly. I opened it and it's
working fine here so that's at least enough info to confirm that the problem
is a local one.
Recently, I did have a similar problem with the last build of Jaws and Word
documents.
If you have time, I'd contact Freedom Technical Support immediately.
Obviously, something isn't right. If you don't get satisfaction from the
first person you talked to, request level 2 support.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS an ITunes

Good Day list members:

Since the last JAWS hotfix update, Itunes has not opened properly for me.
With the pc cursor I notice a blank screen and by routing pc to JAWS or JAWS
to pc, I get the date and time. Has anyone on the list noticed problems
with Itunes? I deleted and then reinstalled Itunes to no avail. Thank you.

[JAWS-Users] NOTE TO OWNERS

2011-06-03 Thread John Justice
David and Rick. I may have inadvertently either sent a message to the wrong
list or had something duplicated on both the Blind Computing and Jaws Users
list. If so, I apologize. The problem was certainly not intentional. I'm
using a laptop and have occasional problems with it.
The message was actually intended for the Jaws Users list in answer to
someone who was having trouble with setting up folders in Outlook.

David,
Recently, I may have inadvertently done that by having trouble with my
laptop. I was trying to get info to David maynard about setting up folders
in outlook.
If it ends up in your In Box, I am sorry. What I meant to do was respond to
David's question about setting up two In boxes in outlook.

I am so tired of this that I believe this is something I am going to have to
automate or make so it does not require me to type it all over again.

Folks the lists on this domain are configured to only allow you to send a
single message to a given list at a time. In other words trying to blind
carbon copy or even a regular carbon copy will get flagged by the server
virtually every time. These messages land in my inbox at the same time as
they do for Bob and Rick then one of us has to deal with them. I set things
like that to reduce Spam as so many folks mass mail their entire address
books.

So forget trying to defeat the server as the Mailman program has seen all
the tricks. Personally I am really starting to be a follower of Mr. Justice
who's plan of action is simply remove the person as it takes less time than
it does to tell them not to do it in the first place.

So please follow the guidelines.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws layout

2011-06-03 Thread John Justice
Fred,
You are close but what's missing is that you need to get into the Customize
submenu.
That's where the Sort option is. What you're looking for is called Sort
Ascending and it's under the menu I mentioned above.

I can't find how to change it in outlook 2010. In outlook express Alt plus
V and arrow down would do it. I believe it was under layout. Thanks much,

Re: [JAWS-Users] help, what is .ogg formats

2011-06-03 Thread Mobeen Iqbal

Hi.

.ogg is an audio format similar to MP3, and its used by many people
because they claim they have more control over file size/quality. winamp
should be able to play .ogg files fine, and i think there's also a
plugin online for windows media player though i've always used winamp my
self.
