[JAWS-Users] Page Numbers in Word 2010
Hi Everyone, Does anyone have any experience putting page numbers in a Word 2010 document? I go to the insert tab, go to headers and footers, go to page numbers, choose footer (I want them at the bottom of the page), select the type, and it goes to a screen that I don't understand. It says that it is in the document window but arrowing up and down makes it say page, header, footer, page, header, footer. Pressing enter does nothing and pressing escape goes back to my document, without putting in the page numbers. I am confused. Can anyone help me out here? I'm using the latest build of JAWS 15 and Office 2010 on a Windows 8 machine. Thanks, Scott Duck For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Re: [JAWS-Users] Updates and Hippo
Hi Jim, After File Hippo loads arrow down to, Link [View Update Checker Results] & press enter. Then arrow down to the results & choose / download the updates the updates you want to install. This new format of File Hippo is a little more time consuming & not as easy to navigate as the older format, in my opinion anyways. i.e; I have don't show beta updates selected in settings but, it still shows beta updates & you have to get past all the updates you don't want to pick out the updates you do want. Also, whenever you download an update you have to go back to the main page & click on, [View Update Checker Results], again to get your next update. In the older format it used to go back to your list of updates. Take care.
