If your record player has no "line-out" jack and is connected to your PC soundcard with a "headset" jack, then most probably you will need to use a pre-amp or connect your LP player to microphone line of your soundcard (instead of "line-in"). > but I can not hear what is being recorded. Re: [JAWS-Users] win 7 to xp
Hello Marilyn, Sorry to hear about your PC problems, but IMO going back to XP is not a good move. While XP is a great operating system, still holding just under 30% of the market according to NetMarket Share, getting software drivers is becoming a real task. If you think you're having problems with Win 7 - which to me is unusual - turning back to Win XP will only increase your computer anxiety. As a sidenote, http://internetslang.com/ is a good resource for all these acronyms. I use it when I come across all these funky abreviations. Especially on Twitter. Type "Title.." without the quotes in the name field. It is important to type the 2 dots after Title. As the first dot defines the row and the second dot defines the column used. 4. Tab until you hear OK and press Enter. 5. Save your worksheet by hitting Ctrl + S. The procedure only works if you can edit and save the worksheet you are reading.
