[JAWS-Users] FS helped fixed menus issues
I was having problems for quite some time with menus in various applications not reading correctly like this one which is Thunderbird email. So I finally contacted FS and we looked at jaws 15 defult to see if things worked well. All seemed ok with Thunderbird so we went back to the Jaws 15 I was using and deleted everything in jaws 15 explorer my settings and unloded jaws and when I started jaws everything was fixed. I was even able to create and use my prefered shortcut key for ms word 2013 which wasn't working. Thanks FS. [JAWS-Users] proof eading in thunderbird
I have a minor issue with proof reading a message I am writing using the arrow keys in Thunderbird. Sometimes when I am arrowing using ctrl left or ctrl right to proof read a line word by word words are skipped and jaws just says blank. However, if I cursor letter by letter with the left and right arrow keys jaws reads correctly. I thought it was a issue with not maximizing the screen but that did not resolve the issue. I am using the latest jaws v15 with windows 7 64 bit. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] setting up pop email in Outlook 2010 using Jaws
Lauren, Not sure if your question was answered but this should get you headed in the right direction. From your inbox, press alt key and arrow left once. I'm using JAWS virtual ribbons so if not it will be different for you. Arrow left to file tab. Arrow down once and hit enter on backstage view. Tab right once to add button then hit spacebar and fill in the info it asks for.
