Hi,
Sometimes the iBank upgrades there page and if you are trying to log in to
an old log in screen, you will have a hard time logging in, you should get a
message telling you something, or to upgrade.
If, you have it saved in your favorites, delete it and re-do it again.
Sometimes it's easier just to type the bank's website in the search bar and
get to the log in edit .

Hi Sunshine.
I am one of those who cannot sign in to wells fargo using the home link I
have always used. However, using the alternative link you provided, I was
able to go directly to the log in page without difficulty. It appears that
the Home page is the problem. After I logged in, I entered on the home page
out of curiosity and low and behold, no links was the response for that
page. I'll be passing this along to FS and to Wells Fargo. Thanks again
for providing the link.

All of the Vocalizer Direct voices that you have installed on your system

Tom as the active Vocalizer Direct voice. If not, you would need to go to
JAWS options/Voices/Voice adjustment. Select the Vocalizer Direct profile

By default, any new version of JAWS will be installed into its own folders
and will make no changes to earlier installed versions. The only way the
old version would be overwritten would be to install the new version to the
same folders as the old version. Unless you're tight on disk space, I
wouldn't uninstall JAWS 14 after installing JAWS15. I have seen situations
where an older version worked better than a newer version. I always keep
the latest 2 versions on my system.
But if you do uninstall JAWS 14 or any earlier version after installing JAWS

Hello Rick,
I thought that was the way, you set up a quick key command.
Like, when I shut jaws off with insert + F4, I can bring jaws back with the
quick key of, control + alt + J and then enter.
Otherwise, you will have to Shut down and restart to bring jaws up again.
That was the old way I was using to bring jaws up again after I shut it
down, until I learned to set a quick key command for jaws.
If, you don't set up a quick key command, you'll never bring it back, unless
you can pull a rabbit out of a hat LOL!
And it works for any program in your start menu.
If, I want, I can go to any program with a quick command, without using the
desktop command.

That's what I thought was the question asked?

Hello Rick,
I thought that was the way, you set up a quick key command.

Tom,

quick key command:
Select a desktop icon and press shift + F10 and arrow down to properties
and press enter.
When, the screen changes:
Tab to the box that is asking for the quick command.
If, it is Jaws, just press control + J and the alt is added automatically.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Word 2010 Question

2014-09-20 Thread Mauricio Molina
Hi Deb,

First, I hope I am understanding your question correctly. Second, forgive me
if you already know this, but superscript characters are made smaller and
raised to the top right side of the last typed non-super script character.
In some cases, superscript characters are preferred, when typing a numbered
street name for instance. Using your example, if you were typing an address
such as 123 2nd Street, the letters n and d should be superscript.

Now that that is covered, and once again, forgive me if you were already
aware of this information, here is just one way to get the super script
characters to be non-superscript:

1. Select the superscript characters.
2. Press Control+D to open the Font dialog.
3. Tab 7 times to the superscript checkbox and uncheck it.
4. Press Enter.
Finished.

Jorge,
What you're describing is known as a keyboard shortcut, or shortcut key.
In the context of JAWS, JAWS 'Quick Keys' are extra navigation keys
(such as h for heading, etc., available in Microsoft programs and in
accessible Web browsers).

Re: [JAWS-Users] setting up quick keys

2014-09-20 Thread Rick Justice
Hi Jorge,
As Flor mentioned, what you are describing is known as a shortcut key
entirely different from a quick key.
These are known as shortcut keys, because they are tied to a shortcut , such
as what is found on the desktop or start menu.
When you assign a key combination to one such as, control alt J to Jaws,
you are assigning a shortcut key, not a quick key.
If you open the properties for the Jaws shortcut on the desktop,, you
should find yourself on the shortcut page
and if you tab, you will hear shortcut key, hotkey when you reach that edit
field.
I am only pointing this out so that we can keep the terminology correct for
those members who are
new to Windows and Jaws.

Now, that I know the difference,
 I'm good!
I will save your note to remember the difference.

To me, a quick key was a quick key, as long as it got me where I wanted to
go, it was a quick key to me.

Jorge,
What you're describing is known as a keyboard shortcut, or shortcut key.
In the context of JAWS, JAWS 'Quick Keys' are extra navigation keys (such as
h for heading, etc., available in Microsoft programs and in accessible Web
browsers).

 Hello Rick,
I thought that was the way, you set up a quick key command.
Like, when I shut jaws off with insert + F4,
I can bring jaws back with the quick key of, control + alt + J and
 then
 enter.
Otherwise, you will have to Shut down and restart to bring jaws up
 again.
That was the old way I was using to bring jaws up again after I shut
 it
down, until I learned to set a quick key command for jaws.
If, you don't set up a quick key command, you'll never bring it back,
 unless
you can pull a rabbit out of a hat LOL!
And it works for any program in your start menu.
If, I want, I can go to any program with a quick command, without
 using the
 desktop command.

That's what I thought was the question asked?

 Hi Jorge,
I think there might be some confusion in terminology here, it sounds
 like
what you are describing is commonly known as a shortcut key There are
navigation quick keys in Jaws for Internet Explorer, is this what the
 original reference was about?

 Tom,

 quick key command:
Select a desktop icon and press shift + F10 and arrow down to
 properties
 and press enter.
 When, the screen changes:
Tab to the box that is asking for the quick command.
If, it is Jaws, just press control + J and the alt is added
 automatically.

Now, tab down to apply, then shift + tab up to OK and press the
 spacebar.

 HTH,
 Jorge

Ok, after logging in do the following.
 1. press b for button until you hear your user name.
 2. down arrow once and it should say help sub menu space bar on this.
 3. down arrow to settings and press enter on this.
Let us know if this works for you.

Hi Mario,

Although I had not considered all the situations where superscripts and
subscripts are used, your description of when subscripts are used sounds
accurate, especially the description of a subscripts' visual appearance.

Mauricio, a subscript could also denote there's a comment for the
topic/subject that's mentioned, right?
and alternately, subscript is used for denoting the presence of a foot note
and is visually to the bottom right side of the last normal typed character,

right?

Finished.

I can not help you with the sound on your headset, but if you hook up your

I hook up the laptop from the ear port and connect it to the auxiliary port
on the mini stereo.
I use a #2 wire adapter on this system.
Yours might be different.
I have never hook it up on the big stereo downstair yet.

(sleved cockring adapter radio shack, it comes in any length and adapter
