[JAWS-Users] view facebook lists in mobile site
I'm using jaws 16 with the latest version of internet explorer. I've created separate lists for my friends on facebook so I can see status updates from different friends quickly. Facebook have changed their code lately as when I navigate down the page by heading, it doesn't automatically load the next set of status's but instead goes back to the top again and the cursor is randomly jumping all over the place. Is there a way to view lists in the mobile version of the facebook site? as changing the URL to m.facebook.com doesn't work Thanks, David For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

The closest I can come would be the KNFB Reader. It is an app which works on your cell phone. However, it costs about $90 normally. That's a lot less than Open Book for sure. I believe that there are versions wich work for Android as well. It uses the camera in your phone to photograph the document and then the software reads it for you. Re: [JAWS-Users] scanning/reading alternative to OpenBook
Don't know of a free one, but there is one that is about $100. It is called Text Cloner Pro. It reads printed material, and allows you to save it into your word documents. I use it quite often, because I can sort through most of my mail. In general, this isn't possible: important aspects of Web accessibility require human evaluation. However, there are useful evaluation tools available, mostly designed for Web site and Web application developers. For example: https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core/ This tool was written by Deque Systems, a consulting firm with a very good and well earned reputation in Web accessibility. Re: [JAWS-Users] scanning/reading alternative to OpenBook
It works with jaws and I paid 99.95 plus what ever your state sales tax is and if an update comes out in the first year after you purchase it it is free but after the first year it is 29.95 please go to the web sight and check it out. I think there is a free trial version you can download and test to see if you like it before you buy it.
