Re: [JAWS-Users] protected documents help
There have been several answers to this issue on this list which tells me there are different avenues to take to perform this task. But for me an office 2013 user the best answer for me was to open the document, hit the f6 key, where you will hear something about the dangers of opening protective emails from the internet,, and then just tab once and hit enter and now you can edit the document. Re: [JAWS-Users] signing out of thunderbird
Hello Tom, You can use the OR operator. For example: From:Brian OR From:john The word 'OR" needs to be in upper case letters. There needs to be a space before and after the search operator. After the From and the colon there should be no space. If you wanted to specify from Brian Lee then you use a space between Brian and Lee but nowhere else unless there is more criteria to the search. For example, if you want to find a message from Brian that has an attachment you would also space after the word Brian. From:brian Hasattachment:yes Notice that the Has attachment colon yes criterion has no spacing in it. Take care. Re: [JAWS-Users] Need format cells command in Excell 2010
Alt h o will get you to the format menu. What are you trying to do. Control number 1 will also get you to the format menu, but that format menu is different. Re: [JAWS-Users] Question About Outlook 2016 E-mail Search Function
Tom, after those steps, press F6 to have JAWS read the list of results. It works in Outlook 2010 and probably still does in 2016. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Tom Behler Sent: Tuesday, October 11, 2016 8:53 AM To: 'Jaws users list' Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question About Outlook 2016 E-mail Search Function Hello, everyone. I am trying to search for a particular e-mail in Outlook 2016, and can't get Jaws to read the screen display to show me what has been found. Here's what I do: When in Outlook, I tab over to "search quiry", and type in what I am looking for. I then hit enter. My sighted wife says that the contents of the new screen displaying the search results is visible, but Jaws will not read it. Am I missing a step for performing e-mail searches here? This used to work very nicely. Is there something else I should be doing? I'm using Windows 7, and Jaws 17 here.
