Am I not using Avast correctly with my e mails or is maybe this company using the paid version and not the fre one? The message follows: avast! Antivirus : Outbound message clean. Re: [JAWS-Users] avast question
Thanks for this information. When I got into the details button, it said that Avast was already running so I assume that somehow it was automatically set to run in the inbound and outbound mail. Do you think I am assuming correctly? Thanks, Eileen La Fond Phone (206) 386-0011 e.mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] Brian Lee [EMAIL PROTECTED] 5/16/2008 9:18 PM Hello Eileen, 1. Bring up the system tray with Insert-F11. 2. Use down arrow to move to the Avast On-access scanner choice and then use tab key to move to the right mouse button choice and press enter. 3. use the up arrow key to move to the on access protection control choice and press enter. 4. You will find a list of running scanners. use down arrow to move to the one relevant to Internet Mail or for Outlook and use tab key to move to the details button and press enter. 5. use the tab key and the JAWS cursor to get information in the details but you will notice that incoming and outgoing for POP3, IMAP, etc. are automatically checked for scanning. There is a customize button in the dialog where the list of scanners is shown, and there is also a second details button in the details screen that you can choose for certain changes. Take care. [JAWS-Users] JAWS stopping speech.
Hi, We have my home work computer here at work updating the new firewall of CheckPointIntegrity and the VPN of Aventail. I am using JFW Version 8 and it works the majority of the time, however, occasionally it will stop talking. The JFWS application is still there, but no speech. I have closed JFW and opened it again and that does not work. I have to totally log back off and then back on to get it to work again. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can keep JFW talking? I am using Windows XP. I hope this is enough information.
