Re: [JAWS-Users] Bouncing Notifications
Hello, in this case it means win mailman text that your email provider has received too many emails from this list,/any other list. It will disable your mail. So want to messages sent to the group, it's going to bounce back to the server until the server that this individual has too many emails and ask the server to reenable it's mail. So that's when you will get an email from mailman asking to reset your account. I hope this answers all your questions, and if you need any further explanations or if anybody needs any more further exclamations feel free to right myself or the owners of this list for further clarification. Re: [JAWS-Users] Bouncing Notifications
Hi David, we haven't set up the same way. However, sometimes the server would just act wonky, and do whatever it wanted to. Let for instance, almost a year ago now, Alan when I'm vacation like he is now, And I would say's coma for one of his groups. And what it happened, a's we have over 40 bouncers at the current time on one group before he left, he had to give me Athens permissions in order to go and fix those. And he also had to put me in contact with the holster people which was over a host in order to fixed the issues while he was going on vacation because I was the only one that he could get a hold of. So in everybody else's case year, what I suggest you do is if you noticed that you're not receiving mail and you know what your list password is or if you know how to retrieve it, I suggest you do so and you can login and check your own mailman settings and this floor also apply if you don't receive a notification to reenable your mail via email. I have a question for you that might be to simple. Do you have a tablet with no keyboard? It sounds like that is what you are saying. If this is the case, you will have to purchace an external key board to hook up to your tablet. You could buy a blue tooth key board for example. Like others have said, the at sign is holding down the shift and tapping the number 2 on the upper numbers row. Please e-mail me for other questions. What operating system are you running? Also, would you like to create shortcut keystrokes from Icons on your desktop or, from applications that don't have Icons / shortcuts on the desktop? Below are steps to create a hotkey / shortcut keystroke from an Icon / shortcut on the desktop: Not knowing what you have on your desktop we'll use the Jaws Icon , I'm pretty sure this 1 is there. 1. Go to your desktop using the keystroke, Windows key + M, if you're not already there. 2. Press the letter, J, until you have Jaws highlighted / selected. 3. Hold down the, Alt key, press enter. This keystroke opens properties for this version of Jaws. When properties opens you'll hear, for example, Jaws 14.0 properties. 4. Tab a couple times until you hear, shortcut keys hotkeys. If there is a shortcut key already assigned it will be announced but, if there isn't jaws will say, none. 5. If there isn't a shortcut keystroke assigned you would like to insert one, you press the keystroke you want to use; for example you want to use, control key + alt key + J. Hold down the control alt keys, press the letter J. doing this inserts this keystroke into the shortcut hotkey field. 6. Use your say line keystroke, Insert key + up arrow, to read what you've inserted to make sure the correct keystroke is there. 7. Tab to the apply button, press the spacebar, tab to okay, press the spacebar or enter. That's it, you should now have a hotkey for Jaws. HTH Take care.
