Subject: [JAWS-Users] 1 keyboard and 2 computers

I am using W10, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I would like to know if it
is possible to run two computers using one keyboard. I am using two
computers and two keyboards from my desk now and it would be much easier if
I could run both computers using one keyboard.

Thanks much,

[JAWS-Users] Norton Ghost

2007-11-26 Thread Shannon Burke
Good Morning All,

Does anyone know if Norton Ghost 12.0 Software is compatible with Jaws? This
software is a tool for backing up info on your computer's internal hard drive
to an external hard drive. I heard from several people it's does a great job
and can be set up to automatically update info. It normally retails for $69.95
but today Buy.com lowered it to $50 and are offering a $50 rebate so the
software is FREE! Shipping is free but you would probably have to pay Cal.
sales tax on the $50. Their number is 1-800-800-0800 and the SKU# is 11866268.
Let's see if this is Jaws compatible.

[JAWS-Users] Norton Ghost UPDATE!!!

2007-11-26 Thread Shannon Burke
Hi Everyone Again,

Just an update to my previous post regarding Norton Ghost software and the
Buy.com deal. I called them and the only way this product is free is if you
currently have Norton Ghost as the $20 part of the rebate is an UPGRADE REBATE.
In other words if you don't already have Norton Ghost you wouldn't qualify for
this portion of the rebate.

So, the product would cost you $20 plus tax, shipping is free. Still a good
buy.

If you would give me the name of a few classical artists that you are
interested in I will do a search for them since I'm a member of eMusic.

Hi Clifford,

I am trying to get my hands on classical music for the purpose of listening
for my high school orchestra. Does anyone know how EMusic's classical
selection is?

Emusic.com is quite thoroughly reputable. It has a number of advantages
over other music services. It has no DRM to interfere with players.
The track quality is high, I think I recall they encode at 192 kbps, but
I may have that wrong. There are no restrictions on what you can do
with the track once you purchase it i.e. burn it, give it to someone,
 transfer to a player, etcd.

The downside, if it be one, is that they do know, by in large, feature
mainstream artists. If you want Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Madona,
Linda Rhonstadt, James Taylor, you will not find them there except for
maybe an obscure cut or two. However they do feature a wide variety of
world music, independent rock, jazz, folk and other styles by somewhat
less well known artists or those who are wanting to thumb their noses at
the recording establishment. However, you're not going to get a
nasty-gram from the RIAA or a prosecutor over your use of the site.

It is probably best to use Emusic.com along with a more mainstream
site to meet all your music needs.

I didn't check out this site, so, this is a question not a statement.
song prices this low make me think. Is this site on the up and up? what
I mean is, am I going to get a letter from the prosecutors office
stating that I have been inadvertently stealing music? and how would one
go about checking to be sure this doesn't happen?

 Hi Shannon,

Thanks for your email! I'll definitely have to take a look into that
and the pricing is great too!

 Thanks again!

 Hi Michael,

About 2 weeks ago I joined a music service called eMusic. I have
spent some time researching music services and finally chose this one

 for the following
 reasons:

 - it has over 2 million songs from 13000 labels in the MP3 format

 - you get 25 free downloads during the 2 week trial period that are
yours to keep regardless what you decide to do after the trial

 - how's $.33 a song sound? You heard me. And depending on what
program you subscribe to it can be less. Check out the following:

1. $9.99 for 30 songs for about $.33 a song

2. $14.99 for 60 songs for about $.30 a song

3. $19.99 for 75 songs for about $.27 a song

You download a download manager. I use Windows Media Player 11 to
play, burn CD's, and sync to a Creative Zen M. So far so go. I've
included a link below for you to visit and get the details. It is
 Jaws compatible.
Good luck. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

 Hello everyone,

I am looking into different online music services such as Napster,
Rhapsody, and if nothing else iTunes. I was just wondering, which,
if any, of the online music services have the best user interface
 when using JAWS 8.0?
 I
know there are scripts for iTunes but I rather dislike having to pay
for the scripts unless the program is the best out there. I'm not
trying to download the music for an iPod, simply just to have on my
 computer and burn onto CDs.

 Thanks,
 Michael
