Re: [JAWS-Users] How to read a capcia

2013-03-20 Thread John R Vaughn
All, I tried to register on the CNBC.com web site and was confronted with the
ability to read a number I could not see and put the number in a field to
complete the registration. I guess this is what a capchia is? Is there any
way to use Jaws to try and read a capchia on a web site? Or is the only
solution to contact the web master or use sighted assistance?
Thanks for any help.
John

The other day I ran into a problem with a capcia on my senator’s web page. I
then called for the information that I needed and mentioned the contact form.
They just called me to test the page. They found a work around to prevent bots
from accessing.Since I was able to use it with no problem the code will be
shared with all of the Pa. senators sites..

Re: [JAWS-Users] How to read a capcia

2013-03-20 Thread inthaneelf
there is this service, see below:

 http://www.azavia.com/zcaptcha.html
 Hello.

Zcaptcha service at above URL. Costs 18 cents per captcha reading. All
instructions are at the above URL. Only drawback I've found is that it
can take up to 15min sometimes for the human being on the other side
to send back the captcha image as JAWS readable text. But hey
beggars cant be choosers and I'm just glad such a service now exists
and I've been able to successfully and easily use it.

You are supposed to add money to your account after you create an
account via the web page above. Only way they allow u to add money is via
PayPal.
So you will have to have a PayPal account.

 Good luck
