Re: [JAWS-Users] IE10 Download Sounds
hi, a quickie question here even if a bit behind. how loud are the rest of your system sounds? the reason I ask is on windows 7 machines the system sounds and jaws and your music players all have there own volume settings if you don't have a shortcut to get there and check this just open the start menu and type in sndvol into the search field and enter on it control tab to system sounds and see what your set at HTH, inthane -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Rose Combs Sent: Friday, March 29, 2013 11:59 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] IE10 Download Sounds Thanks, I know how to change a sound, or rather I did in Windows 98, have not tried lately due to time constraints and the fact that I must use Jaws 9 at work and am using 14 at home. Open the sound dialog from the control panel. 2. Move to the sounds page. 3. Tab to the tree view and select Notification bar. 4. tab to the sounds combo box. By default it's set to windows information bar.wav. Change it to something else. David. original message: It is barely audible but it does work.
