Donnie,

I can only tell you that I've been an avid MLB user and subscriber for
the past few years. Every version I've had, including last year, JAWS
10, and this year''s JAWS 11 both work well with MLB. Once you log in at
the login page, then click on audio/video, thenn Accessible page, then
Game day Audio, then, Go to today.

Those folks are very helpful on the phone as well.

You can't use the volume control on the regular MLB player.
You have to go to listen with accessible audio if you want to control the
volume.

Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS & MLB.COM

2010-03-04 Thread CrisMunoz54
Hello,

Along the same thread, has anyone gotten the gameday audio to play from
within Firefox? IE is no problem, but I'm not able to get the stream going
when in Mozilla. I'm using JFW 11 and the latest version of Firefox and try
to launch the game's feed from the accessible page of Gameday Audio. .

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to have to launch IE just to
listen to a game, but it seems rather unnecessary. I Generally don't use
Internet Explorer and am interested if in fact anyone's been able to get the
games to play via Mozilla.

Thanks,
Cristobal

If you hit enter on the volume, it shows 50% on the game day audio lite.
then, hit enter again, and the volume increases, and it will go up to 100%.

Heyya Donny. I have no issues with jaws9 and MLB.com, I have never been able

to get the volume controls to work with any version of jaws using the
regular MLB player. However if You will click the accessible game day audio
link under audio/video, You will find the controls to work great in this
player which loads directly in Your browser window. And the controls are
links. If You have any further questions, or need any further assistance,
please feel free to let me know.

Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS & MLB.COM

2010-03-04 Thread Baracco, Andrew W
I don't recall the volume control ever being accessible. I use an
external syn for the screen reader and simply adjust the volume knob on
the speakers for the game audio.

[JAWS-Users] JAWS & MLB.Com

2008-03-10 Thread Donnie Parrett
I have been a subscriber to mlb.com for the past 4 years. I have, in the past,
been able to
maneuver around quite nicely in the schedule of games to listen too. However,
this year is a
different story. When I get to the place where the schedule of available games
to listen too is at,
it is just like JAWS is not seeing anything there. My sighted son says that
the list is there, but
for some reason, JAWS is not seeing or identifying anything there. Has my JAWS
went blind, or what?
If anyone can help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. My son
Brad can use the
mouse and click on the games, but we can't seem to do anything at that spot
with JAWS. I am using
JAWS 7.0 and Windows XP.

Thanks,
Donnie
