[JAWS-Users] JAWS and Indented Paragraphs
To All Listers: I was wanting to know something. Using JAWS 11 on a Windows Vista 32 bit system, I have JAWS set up to verbally indicate italicized and emphasized words. Is there a setting to indicate if a sentence is indented, as in the beginning of a paragraph? Or is it in the same setting? I have JAWS set up in Classic (Attributes and Fonts). Thanks. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Indented Paragraphs
Hi Jerry, Try the following; 1. While in word, press Insert + V, for Jaws options. 2. Arrow In the search box type, indentation or arrow down a few times to get passed the search box, press the letter, I, until you land on, Indentation. 3. Jaws will announce either, Indentation ignore or, Indentation indicate. Pressing the spacebar will toggle between these 2 choices. Once you have it set on, Indentation, indicate, press enter to save your changes close Jaws options. There are other settings for indentation settings in Word but, I am not familiar enough with them to tell you how to go about setting them. Take care.
