Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS install error- 'mirror display driver is not properly installed'
So, I uninstalled JFW including shared components, and reinstalled- then got a message that a running program (JFW apparently) was incompatible with one of the windows components. Called FS, who verified that to troubleshoot this issue you need to make sure all important windows updates are installed, and then check to see if there is an updated display driver available. I have done that and JAWS seems to be working OK now- still crossing fingers :) Cher -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Marek Durila Sent: Monday, August 12, 2013 2:19 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS install error- 'mirror display driver is not properly installed' Hi, I mhat some issue in win 7 6e bit. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS install error- 'mirror display driver is not properly installed'
Hi friends the problem will persist even after that. There is only one solution of this problem so far. The solution is that, with out uninstalling jaws 14, run jaws 13 setup. when it will complete extracting the setup and installing display driver and will show the window for next, back cancel etc, just cancel the further instullation of jaws 13. Now use jaws 14 with jaws cursor, the problem will be solved. On 8/12/13, Don & Cher Bosch wrote: > D.J>- Were you installing the August JFW14 upgrade also? Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS install error- 'mirror display driver is not properly installed'
D.J>- Were you installing the August JFW14 upgrade also? JAWS would not uninstall the shared components after the first install in which I received 3 error messages. On the second install got only the one mirror display driver error. Will try again and see if the current installation will let me uninstall JAWS. Will write back with results tomorrow.
