Re: [JAWS-Users] Lost focus

2014-03-29 Thread LeDon
I don't know if this will help anyone, but when jaws looses focus for me, I
just press alt tab. That brings the jaws to the last thing that is open.
Otherwise, I press the jaws key and F ten and get a list of things that are
running. I pick one and focus is then on the program selected.

It don't matter if jaws is in task bar or tray.
Windows has focus on what is in front of you and so should jaws.
However, not always does it respond to what is in front of you! They
do call that a bug.

If you don't have Jaws running from the system tray, the desktop not
always wil come into fokus when closing all other application's.

If you have problems with getting fokus on other application's right
after started, then try to get these started up with a maximized window.

Good luck.

Try jaws, because windows is always in focus.
However, the screen reader is a lot of the time not, bug never fixed from 10.

No, that doesn't work when JAWS has truly lost focus. You then need to
bring up the desktop (windows+m) and proceed (alt-tab) from there.

I don't know; for I do not have jaws 11, but when that happens, just
alt tab

and then shift alt tab back to where you are.

Hello,

I was wondering is it common in jaws 11 to always lose focus? Every time I
am on the web or in a word document, I keep getting the lost focus
announcement. I know I can turn that off in the verbosity but I just
wanted

to know why this happens a lot?
