Hi Laura, Not sure, but it sounds to me like all you want to do is re-order your files into "Date Modified" order instead of by Name. If this is the case then get into the folder where your files are located and press the TAB once. This will take you into the title bar for the folder now right arrow once to "Date Modified" and Enter. If they are in the wrong date order then repeat this process. Be careful because it is most likely that when you TAB it will be on Date Modified where it went last. Hit enter on this and you will see a list of view options. "details" should work. Now on the right side you will see some columns with file properties, rather than more files, so your up and down arrows will move vertically through the list. When I pressed the windows key and then type in the name of a folder this doesn't do anything and I can't get Jaws to read what I typed in the search box. Also, when I'm in my documents I can press the first letter of a folder or file that is missing and find it that way. Jaws asked what type of headphone and gave me a list of six to choose from; headphones, headphones with microphone, headset, etc. I pressed enter on headphones and the headphones worked. I opened a file, typed a few notes, and closed that file. I then got on the internet and did a few Google searches. When I got off the internet and went back to my documents I noticed Some of my folders and files are missing. I checked the recycle bin and they are not there.
