Re: [JAWS-Users] Query about JFW reading a dialog in Microsoft office2016, a temporary work around found
Hi, Not sure if it'll change anything regarding JFW working any better but I'm sure glad to at least have a means of being able to interact with it while we wait. So anyone looking for a work-around in the meantime might be as happy as I am to discover that Narrator is a help in this situation. Here’s hoping that perhaps one day sooner rather than later JFW can be made to work better in this dialog once again as it did in jfw and office versions past. I hope that helps someone. Robin, That is good news. I "cheat" & use my little bit of vision with MAGic to cope with that function right now but it is nice to know that Narrator will do the job if JAWS does not. Hi, Begging your pardon I do not understand what you're asserting. I don't use outlook as my email program. That which I was speaking about is happening inside of Microsoft Word when one is readying to print an addressed envelope. I hope that clarifies. I use that function a good bit and it for sure is passed onto 2016. As System Access performs flawlessly in this dialog currently. I'm just curious then if it is a Microsoft short coming then why it is working better in this instance than Jaws is.
